The apartment is located right in the very center of Paris, within two minutes walk of the beautiful River Seine and in a charming side street of the Saint-Germain-des-Pres area, Paris, most sought after neighborhood. The rue Mazarine where the apartment is located is so attractive, with lots of art galleries, restaurants and cafes. Buci street is at 50 meters. The apartment set back from the street, so no noise whatsoever inside. Walking distance to everything.

Beautiful renovated apartment in the heart of Paris in a really good area . Close to everything, shop next door , plenty of restaurants nearby , few bakeries. If you want to visit Paris by foot this apartment have the best location, we only stay 3 night but visited Notre Dame,

Fabulous spot in Paris

Amazing location in St Germain des Pres! The apartment was clean and cozy. It's a very old building so noise travels, but doesn't take away from the stay.

Comfortable apartment in great location

The apartment was perfect for us. Right in the heart of St Germain. Bed was super comfortable and shower was one of the best anywhere. Having a washer and dryer was a plus as our five nights in Paris were part of a longer trip so we could wash everything. BUT allow lots of time as a full wash takes 3.5 hours!

Wonderful Paris

An authentic small apartment. Outstanding location close to the Seine and all facilities. Old apartments do have their quirks, uneven floors, occasionally noisy neighbours and a tiny tv. However you'll forgive the quirks to be in such an attractive neighbourhood.

Home away from home in Paris

This was our 4th stay in Françoise’s charming Latin Quarter apartment. As always, it was very clean and has everything we needed. Because the windows overlook a courtyard, it is very quiet at night with no street noise. The dishwasher and laundry were especially useful. Staying here always makes us feel like we belong in Paris. “On ne visite pas, on vit!” :)

Amazing location and Quiet

My family of 4 enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment. Perfect location easy walk to all tourist destinations. Wonderful restaurants all around you. My kids ages 11 & 14 had no problem sharing the comfortable pull out couch in the living room. The bedroom bed was very comfortable. Apartment has many windows but still very private. Highly recommend to others and we’ll be back.

The apartment was very nice and in a great location. We would definitely stay again. It was very comfortable, especially the pull out sofa. It was very clean. Just make sure you know where the light switch is in the courtyard because one of us tripped and fell because we couldn’t see the threshold between the gravel and the tile in the dark.

A Marvellous Mazarine VRBO

This is indeed a cozy apartment, located in the middle of Tourist Paris, you can walk almost everywhere, if not, the Metro will get you there. This apartment is very well equipped - kitchen, washroom, bedroom, living room all. Comfy sofa bed. The kitchen is small but well done. the appartment was so in order that we didn't need to bother Mme Py at all. She has a very concise booklet that is quite informative. The immediate neighbour hood has many sidewalk cafes, good for eating yes, but for people watching also. & yes I would definitely stay here again!

Great property at a fabulous location

This apartment was perfect - exactly as described, immaculate, and very well appointed. Secure building in a friendly neighborhood. Walking distance to great cafes, restaurants, shopping etc. Owner provided the most comprehensive and helpful information about the apartment and the surrounding area that we have ever seen. It was extremely useful. We loved it and hope to be back soon.

Quite Nice

An excellently located apartment in a vibrant section of Paris. The only reason we did not give it five stars is because of the third-floor walkup (second floor a la Europeen) with no elevator. Francoise was attentive and followed up when needed.

St Germain Paris

We had a lovely stay in this property of Francoise. It was in a lovely area, the apartment was as described and lovely and clean. Our days were warm so it was nice to come back to a place we could turn in the aircon - even though it is just a portable one - it did a reasonable job. The location of this apartment cannot be beat. It’s in a vibrant neighborhood with endless food options and incredibly easy to get to all the top sites either walking, by bus or the metro. The apartment was clean and cozy. Communication with the owner was great and the check-in and out process very smooth. Some days it was loud in the mornings with people getting ready for the day but it will likely be the same everywhere in this kind of building. Definitely the perfect location. And an amazing bakery around the corner.

Wonderful location and host

This apartment was just what we were looking for, a comfortable, well equipped true one-bedroom in the bustling Latin Quarter. The one minor drawback is the occasional late night noise coming from the wildly popular Ramen restaurant located on the ground floor. Not a problem if you expect to be out on the town late. Also, a reminder that like most apartments in Paris there is no AC meaning the apartment will be warm when the weather is hot.

Nice Apartment, sketchy entryway

The apartment itself was great, modern, everything you need, comfortable. The location is super, but the inner courtyard is not pleasant; trash cans from Ramen restaurant, messed up rugs over concrete, sometimes a lot of chatter - not a room with a view. Stairs in need of modernization, lighting too. Too bad the lovely apartment has such an unpleasant entry.

Lovely Cozy Apartment

The apartment is exactly as described and very comfortable. We enjoyed our 4 week stay very much. We were there under difficult circumstances with constant civil unrest and protests and a three week rubbish strike which made getting into the apartment difficult but this was out of the control of the owner. The common garden area is currently under construction and most unattractive as are the stairs leading to the apartment. In short the apartment was lovely, well maintained and serviced by Rolly who was a delight. The common outdoor area is currently very unattractive but hopefully will be rectified.

Great apartment in a great location!

Very satisfied with our stay! Location was excellent, walking distance to most of the main Paris attractions, and to the metro/rer for those that weren't. The courtyard (mentioned by many earlier reviewers) was clean, no issues there anymore. Loved having a washer and dryer (note, the private washer/dryer are outside the apartment, in a room a half floor down). The apartment itself was quiet. My 17 year old daughter slept on the sofa bed, and it was very comfortable. I thought the bed in the bedroom was a bit too firm, but that's subjective...and I got used to it by the end of our stay. Would absolutely recommend choosing this place for your vacation. Just a few tips I thought I'd pass along: To enter the door off the street, type in the code, then push the center of the door inward (with a little extra force). Thankfully a nice employee from the ramen restaurant next door saw us struggling and showed us how it worked. Also, in the stairwell, there are light switches, but we were hesitant to press them at first because they sort of looked like old American doorbells, and we didn't want to disturb anyone if we were wrong! But rest assured, they are light switches, so press away!

Fantastic stay in perfect location

My husband and I traveled to Paris with our 15 month old daughter for 5 days and very much enjoyed our stay at Francoise's apartment. The location is just fantastic- there are so many restaurants, bakeries, patisseries, grocery stores, all just around the corner. It's very lively with many people out, but because the apartment doesn't overlook the main street, it is not loud at all. Close walk to a number of metro and bus stops, and just 10 minutes walk to the Louvre. The apartment was up a few flights of stairs, so something to be mindful of. There is a portable AC unit available in the unit which is useful if it gets hot. The kitchen was very well stocked (tea, coffee, sugar, salt/pepper, jams, cooking equipment, etc.) and Francoise even left us a bottle of champagne upon our arrival (we don't drink but it was still a lovely gesture!). Since we had a toddler with us my husband would pick up fresh bread in the morning and we got a variety of cheese and fruit from the grocery store to eat with our breakfast- delicious! was very comfortable to have the extra space in the apartment as well. we brought a pack and play crib for our daughter and had enough space to put it in the corner of the bedroom which was convenient so we could stay in the living room while she slept. Francoise was very on top of communication and was very helpful. I don't think she speaks English but had no problem sending messages through VRBO. We were taking a train out of Paris later in the afternoon and she let us leave our luggage in the laundry room with no problem which was much appreciated. the Laundry was also great! regular size washer and dryer, and detergent pods available for our use. Overall fantastic stay and would recommend to others!
