We loved our stay at Babel. The hosts were excellent and friendly, our room was quite comfortable. It’s also very conveniently located close to the metro. The Boulangerie around the corner (Le Petit Grain) has phenomenal sourdough croissants. Definitely would love to come back.

Overall a good experience with the hotel. It was charming and chic. The restaurant for lunch and dinner is great, seemed very hip and the food was fantastic - I’d skip the breakfast on my next visit. Make sure you explore the neighborhood - there are some gems. The staff seemed annoyed by my lack of French language skills and didn’t try to hide it.

This was my first experience in Paris and if i ever book another trip best believe ill be booking with them again. As stated before the staff were very hospitable and accomodating to this non french speaker. My host with the thick thighs also turned my eyes to french woman. Should i ever take a second wife im coming back to get her in paris. Where the woman are as beautiful as the city.

Amazing stay
Had the most wonderful stay- I was travelling solo for business and it was my first time abroad on my own as a wheelchair user so was a little apprehensive- the staff were all so brilliant, the hotel was completely accessible; beautiful bathroom and room. Restaurant and bar were also delicious! Will definitely be back!!

Gorgeous hotel! Every inch of the décor has been so well thought out to look beautiful. The breakfast was lovely, room cosy, staff very welcoming. Metro is a minute's walk, and on the street outside on Tuesday morning we found there was a market - only wish we'd stayed longer

The hotel has a lovely interior with interesting design. The rooms are comfortable and inviting. Bars from neighbouring properties to stay active late and can be noisy. The morning drinks options in the room are limited and although the options are interesting it would be nice to have them replenished and other options. Breakfast unfortunately was a little disappointing. Options that were included were limited and small. Staff were slow and service a little unclear. On the whole though staff were pleasant and friendly. Would still recommend the hotel but maybe go somewhere else for breakfast.

Unusually welcoming atmosphere as you enter through a cafe restaurant (of good quality). Excellent service. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfasts. Good bar. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very modern and despite the small room, extremely efficient. We were two, with two suitcases, and made it work. There are many more options for restaurants in the area from many cultures. And the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back!

The hotel is fantastic! Staff were incredible! The shower was brilliant! However, the bed was so uncomfortable it let it all down. It was rock solid, like sleeping in concrete.

I had heard good reviews so was disappointed. The room was very small and while small rooms are normal in Paris, I had to step over my bags to get around. Noise from the bar restaurant reaches even the 4th floor especially at night.

Great hotel, locale slightly lacking
This is a great hotel - it has a great vibe, is nicely decorated, is very clean, and has friendly staff. The rooms are a bit cosy, but that’s standard in Paris. The only downside to this place is the location - it’s great if you don’t mind hopping on the metro to go anywhere, but it’s not super walkable. The local area is a bit rough and ready with quite a few kebab shops and discount clothing stores. Whilst you can see signs of development if you head more in the Goncourt direction, with some cool food places and bars popping up, it’s not somewhere we enjoyed hanging around for more than 1/2 nights. There are two really cool places nearby though - the Canal Saint-Martin is really pleasant and has some trendy food and drink places, and the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont park is lovely with a really cool bar & pizza place called Rosa Bonheur. Highly recommend both.

Absolutely loved this place. The rooms are so cute and the details are well thought through. The breakfast was delicious and healthy and the food and cocktails at the restaurant were amazing. Close walk to the Metro makes it easy to get around Paris. Would 100% recommend you stay here!

Unique stay in Paris !
Really cool hotel in one of my fav areas in Paris. Very unique experience/vibe. There was an issue with Hotels.com and the payment during my check-out, but since I was late for my uber to the airport, the receptionist let me leave and solve the issue at a late time. Very understanding and patient. Great customer service. Can't give them any faults <3

Smoking is a giving in Paris. The problem is the fact that they smoke too much and the smell goes right into the rooms. Also very noise outside. No TVS or refrigerator in the rooms
