Hote Amiot - boka inte

Vi bokade detta hotell för att vi skulle ankomma till Paris sent på kvällen och ville ha ngt nära tågstationen. Tyvärr betalade vi vi hotels.com i förväg. När vi kom till hotellet, kände vi oss tvungen att leta efter ett nytt hotell. Det var mögel på många ställen. Rummet vi fick luktade parfym för att dölja mögel. Vi kände att vi betalade heller 150 Euro extra än att få vägglöss.

Close to train station

It was clean and comfortable, close to the train/metro station and places to eat. Staff was friendly and the hotel felt safe. Just needs a little paint on the outside and a little updating, but it is quite adequate especially for the price and location.

Use it as a place to sleep - nothing more.

Be prepared to pay a "city hotel tax", collected up-front at check-in. The photos on this site were obviously very carefully taken. We knew there was something amiss as we initially approached the hotel. The majority of the front area of the hotel is covered in graffiti. We were out and about all the time and we only slept there, so we got we paid for. Given our itinerary, the pro for us was general location. The area is a bit seedy though. The shower tiles has mold in the joints and everything looked old - REALLY old. No air conditioning, as expected, but no screens in the windows either. The steps and hallways were poorly maintained - peeled and scratched paint everywhere. Door locks were a joke. Leaving the giant metal key at the desk concerned us - no ID ever requested - even from staff we didn't meet yet. We carried passports and valuables at all times when away. Bed bug check came up negative, but the comforter looked to be 20 years old. The furniture looked like it was collected out of local garbage. To their credit, all of the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful - every single employee we encountered for that matter. Excellent home base for us. We are hikers, so the walk to Notre Dame area was easy. We also walked to SOHO a lot. Day trips to other countries were a short (7 min) walk to Gare du Nord where we accessed Thalys and EuroStar high speed trains. The metro at Gare de l'Est was conveniently just 100 feet away.

close to all transports , but didnt like the area.

right outside the Gare lest rail to all transport, trams close by , lots of restaraunts and bus at door! staff willing to help BUT... small rooms, basic you get what you pay for , in an afro ethnic area, alot of men standing around streets , not recommended for female travellers, area undesirable .

propre et bien comunique

personnel tr`es sympa, habitation spacieuse et comfortable. extremement bien situ'e par rapport aux gares du nord et de l'est, bien communiqu'ee. dommage que le rideau de bain n' est pas plus large car on mouille pas mal le sol et apr`es trois douches de suite (moi et mes deux enfants) on cree une petite flaque. petit d'ejeuner copieux.

Die Mitarbeiter der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Gare de l'est. Wasserschaden im Zimmer ist leider mangelhaft behoben- bei Dauerlüftung okay Die Buchung war preiswert

利便性は高いです

Gare de'l estを出て徒歩１分くらいのところなので、移動には便利です。 フロントの人は人によりますが、ノリが良いです。 エレベーターは古いので、遅めです。 部屋によるかもしれませんが、 部屋は床が抜けそうな部分もあったり、 窓が開けるか閉めるかのみのタイプ、 ベッドは大きい子供用くらいのサイズ、 とあまり良いとは言えません。 でも古いという意味では綺麗に使われているように思います。 コストパフォーマンスは良くないかもです。 東に行くと川があり、カフェが多く、雰囲気良いです。 時間帯によるんでしょうけど、少し南に行くと日本人には慣れない黒人街みたいになってて 行く人々に声かけたりしてるから、喋れないからか男の私でもちょっと怖いと感じました。 食事はホテルの近くで済ませ、次の日にユーロスターで移動など、 トランジットで使うだけなら気になるほどではないです。

terrible place to stay

I stayed for 3 days and during the entire stay wifi was not working. I asked to cancel the reservation because of no wifi and they said it is prepaid so I can't cancel. It is an old building, the beds are so hard and uncomfortable. The hotel staff were not very friendly. It is very close to the train station so the crowds hanging around is not so friendly. If you are looking for a place to stay close to the station, stay away from this place at any cost. You can say, you get what you paid for, my point is this place is not worth your money.

pas très glamour tout ça

Mauvaise insonorisation de la chambre, trop de bruit à l'étage supérieur. Ascenseur poussif et très abîmé.Très lent aussi. Faut pas être en retard !!!! Salle d'eau pas très confortable, même pas une patère pour accrocher ses affaires, serviettes rugueuses..... Pas très glamour tout ça !!!

Great Location, Clean Hotel

Very very old hotel, but do not be afraid. It is located in the center of Paris and all other main areas are near by. It is located just a cross from Gare de l'est train station and only .4 miles from Gare de Nord train station. The room we had was very small but the hotel, room and bathrooms were clean clean. The service was good, they made our room everyday and gave us new towels. For the price and comfort you can beat it.

Défaut d'entretien !

Ascenseur en panne le jour de l'arrivée, réparé deux jours après. Chasse d'eau qui fuit, pas réparée quatre jours après. Joints de carrelage de la salle d'eau d'une noirceur repoussante ! Impossible de s'assoir au bureau pour écrire une carte, la chaise ne sort pas assez ! Draps propres, linge de toilette propre changé tous les jours si besoin.
