"We loved our stay at the Britannique Hotel! The staff was warm and welcoming, even encouraging my halting attempts at speaking French. We especially appreciated being allowed to check in hours early, as we arrived tired after a lengthy redeye. The room was cozy but extremely comfortable, the hotel decor was tasteful, and breakfast was delicious (buffet style with all the French trimmings). Best of all, the location is without equal, offering short walks to the Seine and myriad local shops and cafes. "The one down side is they put me in the handicap room on the ground floor next to the swimming pool. People were standing outside my window smoking. The loungers were just 3m away and at the same level, so I had to draw my curtains always"
