Only downside was the beds, we had to go buy mattress toppers as the beds were incredibly firm. Even with that i found the couch to be softer, so ended up there all week."

The comfort of the cottage along with cozy Adirondack chairs and a nice gas fire pit overlooking the lake make it perfect for relaxing evenings. "A very nice cottage with fun toys that has all that several adults and couple of kids need to stay for a week. I like that there were plenty of plates, silverware, glasses so we weren't running dishwasher all the time. Only comment is lack of kitchen wash rags and towels. Only a couple of face clothes for bathrooms. Fortunately I always pack several and they came in handy. Generous supply of bath and beach towels. "This place was great for our quick weekend getaway. The location is perfect if you like to be near all of the main attractions."

"We came for an extended weekend for a Wollersheim winery tour and a visit to Taliesin. We added a trip to J. Henry as well. (We aborted a trip to Circus World due to the weather) There are two restaurants/ bars within a 5 minute walk from the property. We ate at each, both were good. The down side was Saturnday there was a band till 9pm, loud music till 11pm. Not a deal breaker for us as we sat on the deck listening. The property was very clean and spacious. "What a beautiful, cozy home in an ideal setting. The view is stunning! My family gathered here from various parts of the country to celebrate Christmas. There was even a little Christmas tree for our presents. The hosts are wonderful! Might be making plans to go back in a different season."
