"Very local to the Airport, about 6 minute drive. Buses to the CBD and back literally stop outside. Very handy for the Weta workshop.Zelda was very communicative, and is slowly renovating the property, however don’t let that put you off.Our biggest complaint was the beds were a bit soft for our taste. "We booked online , and wanted to stay close to the city, Wow is place has everything, I love the Back covered area, Its was a great place to chat and have a wind down, after walking the hills , The rooms are large, and lots off hanging space, the beds where great , My wife and I and my Son enjoyed our stay and we will be back , I have stayed at a lot of places and i rate this one 10 out off 10 . "This Bach was everything you could ask for as a couple beautiful views of the beach would be great in the summertime with its gorgeous outdoors. Loved staying here "

Nice, but needs some repairs!

"The room was nice, we had a free upgrade too. The shower, however, was a bit of a nightmare, its pole kept slipping off the wall, a nd it lacks a door on the shower stall. This would be okay, but the floor sloped back toward the room carpet, rather than the drain. Earthquake damage? They gave us extra bathmats and were quite nice about it... but here it is!"
