"Tired, old property, buffet dinner overcooked, soggy, poor replenishment, limited salads, no dessert 1hr+ before closing, not worth the cost. AC in room loud. Shower in bath, no walk in shower. Ended up eating down the road at Eastwood"

"Quick and easy check in. Modern hotel with a very large room (king with lake view). Only parking option is valet so be prepared to pay for valet upon arrival. Within easy walking distance to more restaurants than you can visit. Disappointed that there wasn't a pool. Didn't like that price for breakfast went up if we didn't commit at check in. The price should be the same for guests regardless of when you decide to have it. Overall, a good experience "

"Check in was easy and it's hard to miss with it at the very top. Our room had alot of dead crane flys in our room including on our bed. We had fresh towels to but with all the dead bugs Im not sure how fresh the towels were or how recent the room had been cleaned and for the price I would expect better."

"This is a newer, cozy and comfortable cottage nestled in a private forest. It was spotlessly clean and equipped with all we needed for quiet, restful stay. We loved the outdoor bathtub surrounded by trees. Details such as flower petals sprinkled on entry walkway speak of the desire by the hosts to provide a warm welcome to this exceptional place."

We stayed for two nights and found this to be perfectly situated away from the bustle of Rotorua, but still close enough to go into town for some excellent food and entertainment. 10 out of 10!"
