"We loved everything about this property, the house, the staff! Hannah, the house manager, was like I would envision Mother Earth to be. So kind. So accommodating. The home was absolutely picturesque. The views! We had an ocean view room and it was marvelous. Eating breakfast on the veranda looking out on the ocean, breathtaking. They still social distance there but it really works in your favor because it doesn’t get crowded grabbing breakfast and you have your own space to just relax and enjoy everything they have to offer! The outdoor shower was, it was just amazing. I would’ve loved to take it home with me. The breakfasts’ every morning were hand cooked by Hannah and she even made some stuff her grandmother had passed down to her. Just the whole stay was excellent. Could not have picked a better place if we’d paid thousands of dollars a night. "

"Absolutely unforgettable stay!We brought our whole extended family — my family of five, my brother’s family of five, and our parents — and this estate was beyond anything we hoped for. Set on 9.5 lush acres with sweeping ocean views, the property is full of rich history and character (built in 1972 by The Beach Boys, which we thought was the coolest detail).There are multiple homes on the property, so everyone had their own space, but we could still come together easily to enjoy meals, games, and relaxing by the pool and hot tub. Everything is immaculately maintained in its original condition — it’s like stepping into a timeless Hawaiian retreat.Our kids loved exploring the grounds, picking fresh bananas, limes, mangos, and more. The adults loved the peacefulness, the views, and just how special the whole place felt. It’s rare to find something this unique and serene — truly perfect for a multi-generational family gathering.We made lifelong memories here and can’t recommend it enough. If you’re considering it, just book it. You won’t regret it!"

"Dan’s home (aka Rick’s Place) was absolutely perfect for someone looking for a calm, peaceful and secluded ocean front view. This is the most well stocked home we’ve ever rented. They have everything for you. It is off the beaten path, so for those looking for downtime with the ocean waves crashing in your backyard, then this is the right spot for you. As my wife said as we left, she’s never been more disappointed to leave a rental house behind. "

"I've travelled a lot over the last 4 decades and Kona Palace has the best view of any property I've stayed in. It is cozy and secluded and it was amazing just to sit on the patio and watch the sun come up from the side of a mountain! The surrounding foliage is beautiful and the accomodations are comfortable. The cherry on top was finding we had a hot tub!"

"This was such a a fun place to stay! We loved all the animal ( geckos, chameleons, and birds). It was also fun to walk the grounds and find fresh fruit! The house was located in a nice spot close to a several hikes and beaches."
