"Luxurious resort outside of downtown Naples. Great option if you don't want to be in the city area. Highly recommend. Lovely outdoor dining with water views."

"The breakfast was above average. This restaurant also had a dinner menu which looked very good but we did not have dinner at the hotel. We selected this hotel because of its airport location which was very good except that the road to the airport was heavily trafficked so the walk included dirt and smells from many cars. The AC worked but the window unit was slow to cool the room. (Staying in 5 different hotels in Italy, some fine hotels, it was our experience Italians are stingy with the AC.) I would have given this hotel 5 stars except for the beds, OK at best."

"The property is modern, the rooms are spacious and reflect 4 stars. The location is about a mile from the city centre, there is a shuttle service to the city centre offered by the hotel. Alternatively, you can get a cab for €20 to city centre. There were good options for breakfast, and staff are welcoming. It would be good to have an iron in the room, although you can request for one in the reception. The only downside is the iron board cover was a little old and dirty, please replace it along with a new iron."
Palazzo Rosenthal Vesuview

"This was a lovely locally run independant hotel. Our room was large with a balcony, there is a nice pool and great views. The only caveat would be that in my opinion you need a car. On a map the hotel isn't far from anything Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius, Sorrento, Napoli. The trains run frequently and are cheap, (about 3 euro or less per person per journey). The hotel is only 1 mile from the nearest station. However, it's not a nice walk up streets that are not all paved or lit and motorbikes in particular drive fast. The hotel does offer a free shuttle but it has to be pre booked which means you have to know always in advance where you are going and when you will be back. Taxi's are few and far between and are expensive (30+Euro for just a few miles, if you can find one). It didn't work for us and we ended up booking a hotel for 1 night in Sorrento so we could stay late and have a meal and a drink without watching the clock. If you plan to have a hire car or to drive I recommend this place otherwise if you want to explore the area I recommend Napoli or Sorrento"

"The hotel is very clean and recently renovated. The big advantage was the location. It is at the heart of Pompeii, restaurants, the piazza and the back entrance to the Pompeii park. The train station is across the street but sadly the service is limited but very convenient when serviced."

"Upon arrival, I was greeted very warmly and the host kindly carried my heavy bag up the stairs. Check in was very quickly and everyone staying was very friendly. The location is VERY close to the airport and the room and floor were incredibly clean. A wonderful value for my quick trip through Napoli!! Thank you!!"
