Very Good

We stayed at the lake cabin for 3 days. It is a great location and the hosts were very gracious in welcoming us. We tented a boat from them and they have nice boats, much better than the ones across the lake. Jim, the host, spent some time with us to show us the best way to catch fish on the lake.We will stay here on all future trips to the lake!
Expectations not met: electrical outlets in the kitchen did not work, grill did not start, no matches.Expectations met: clean and dry bedding, peaceful area.Complications: I didn't have reception and therefore couldn't call the manager.
Peaceful and cozy. Nice selection of pillows! Flat and fluffy. Extra blankets and pillows. The propane grill was very janky. Should consider replacing it. Electric outlets in the kitchen that work would be nice for the coffee maker. I had to go to the living room to make the coffee in the morning. Quite a few spiders and webs about the cabin. I don't mind them too much but I did wake up with one in my bed.

Host Was Great to Work With
We had an issue with the booking. The host was very responsive to our request and quite accommodating to the situation. The location is really nice. Lake is beautiful. No cell service at all. If you truly want to escape this is the place. The cabin is very rustic.

Had a great ice fishing trip with the family. There was a water line break that had us without water for 2 days (no fault of the property management). Minor inconvenience of restroom use, but communication on the matter was good. Could use some updating, wish it had an oven. We would definitely stay here again.

Rustic and Remote With a View
This rustic cabin was a nice, remote getaway. Great view from wood patio. Gas, charcoal BBQ’s, firepit were unusable. Watch out for dog poop in front of the cabin. Open kitchen with bar, stools under the window for a great view. Kitchen was missing a lot of the basic amenities. Odd to use camping cook stove indoors, which you’re not supposed to do. Only 1 of 6 outlets that worked in the kitchen. No oven, brought my toaster oven, had to ask for a proper extension cord. All of the lower cabinets in kitchen, living room, drawers in both bedrooms had mouse feces in it. Living room furniture needs replacing. Sank to floor when I sat on the couch. Three recliners were in terrible shape—stuffing in arm of one missing, recline in the other two broken, third’s seat was slashed. Had to cover with towels to use them. Floor had four large tiles, grout missing, entire floor needed a deep cleaning. Couldn’t use the TV, had a bunch of wires hanging down, no remote. Main bedroom comfortable with central heat/AC off, intake vent over the bed noisy. Intake vent filter completely dirty. Bathroom stocked well. Showerhead needs replacing. Tub needs non-slip strips. Internet, wifi were a problem until the correct password was given. Cell service is almost non-existent if there is no wifi. Resort Caretaker was very helpful. We worked around the issues. BUT should not have had to experience any of them, particularly the mouse feces, especially with what we paid. Would we come back? Maybe....
We had a wonderful time at this cabin. Its a great cabin at a great location. The off season and pet friendly atmosphere made for a wonderful get away.
Super friendly host. Perfect location on the lake.

The pictures do not match the property. We realize we were in a cabin in the woods but there were cobwebs and spiders everywhere. It could be a really great place with just a little elbow grease. We left two days early because we just weren’t comfortable. We have booked on VRBO and this is our first pour review.
There is NO stove or oven so even though the description says well equipped kitchen we were unable to cook anything. The sink & toilet backed up so we were not able to use them. This cabin is only better than camping because it has beds. I would never stay here again.
2 night stay with my family for some fishing and a quick getaway from the heat. Nice location, but I couldn't find an actual address so be sure to get directions before you head up and no internet is available.
The cabin was in a great location, but is not ideal, considering what we paid. From the propane stove in the kitchen to the spider web filled BBQ that leaks propane, to the coffee pot we plugged into the extension cord that was originally plugged into the microwave because none of the outlets work in the kitchen…would never recommend this place or stay there again. There are so many other options around the lake. Really advise a remodel and would be great property.
We had a good vacation. Staff was great.
T.v. Cut out a lot signal issues. The cabin
Could have been cleaned better. Fishing was great. I was surprised how windy it is there.

Great Access to the Lake
Great access to the lake, but the listing was mis-leading.
The dished in the cupboard were dirty and there is not a stove. Luckily we brought our own pot and we were able to use the BBQ to cook our dinner. There is a propane stove that works- also- we brought extra mini propane tanks. It's a great little cabin and it was nice to be able to take our dogs.
The first night was Miserable! We could not get the heater turned on. I had to take batteries from the remote to get the thermostat to turn on. I text Kendra multiple times advising the heater would not turn on, she had me send her pictures of the thermostat as if I do not know how to use one. We went through 2 bundles of wood to trying to keep warm. We had to triple layer clothing just to try to sleep in 48 degree weather inside the cabin. It was 36 degrees when we woke up.. No apologies No offer to reimburse.. Our children and dogs were freezing. I had to drive a half hour the next morning to purchase more batteries for the thermostat and fire wood.. We ended up finding Cody that lives on site, he was able to unscrew the breaker box and found 2 breakers tripped (which I mentioned to Kendra the night before that we thought was the problem).. Still No apologies from her.. The original ad for the property stated it had an Oven.. Kendra called me the day before our trip stating even though the ad said oven, it did not have one. We got there and it had a 2 burner propane camping stove top (and No toaster). When I complained about the heat and mentioned how ridiculous it was and that I could overlook the not having an oven, Kendra changed the ad removing the oven and added stove top.. It is beautiful where we stayed and once the heater worked, we were able to salvage a great trip… No thanks to Kendra, who seems she is only worried about making money. Cody was a lifesaver.
We loved our stay at the cabin. We did not realize it was part of an RV resort, so there wasn't as much privacy as we thought. However, it did not affect our fun or relaxation, and the grandkids loved fishing! They each caught at least one Rainbow Trout.
We would highly recommend this cabin for a small group or a couple's retreat. The only recommendation for the owners is to pay a little more attention to dust on window ledges and corners. It caused a small asthma reaction in my granddaughter.
Otherwise, everything was great! The linens were clean and crisp and the place was cozy.

Nice and quiet
Place was nice and quiet with a lovely view. The fact they allowed dogs was awesome hard to find places that do. But we never got a key to the unit. Arrived in the dark and had a very hard time figuring out exactly where the unit was. And lastly when we went to cook some food there was rat poop all over the cook ware. Never found the wifi password either and there isn't any service. I actually guessed the password. So I guess we should of brought our own pots, pans, and got there before the sun went down.
