Enjoyed our stay! The condo did need some attention as far as curtains in the master bedroom, it did not cover the whole window. And the skillets need to be replaced.

The location was great! Right on the beach & the kids enjoyed the pool. The unit was very clean & had plenty of space. Fully stocked kitchen, although a lot of the knives were a bit dull. Check in was super easy! Overall, great vacation! I would definitely stay here again.

My daughter graduated from high school. Her classmates were down the beach. Our location was great because it wasn't as crowded, family oriented. But she was close enough to her classmates to go meet them.

We accidentally made our reservations for Thunder Beach weekend, but this condo’s location was out of the mainstream, so it wasn’t as noisy. We were also close to some of the restaurants that we wanted to try. The condo was very nice and was very clean. We would stay there again. The only problem was that the master bathroom was quite small and my brother is a big guy. But overall, the place was wonderful.

Had a great time. Only complaint was the cleanliness of the condo. The ceiling fans and furniture were covered with dust, which I cleaned myself, and the kitchen thrash can had not been cleaned before putting trash bag in.

This is the 3rd year we have vacationed at The Commodore in Lower Grand Lagoon. We love it! It’s the 2nd time we have stayed at this exact condo. Our balcony looked out over the ocean, we had a pool and hot tub right next to the beach, and with Patches Pub and it’s wonderful food and live music within walking distance right beside the condo, there’s no better place for a family beach vacation! We have 4 boys ages 6, 8, 10, & 12 who slept in the two double beds in the guest room, and our master bedroom had glass doors that went out onto the balcony and over looked the ocean. If you’re wanting a less crowded beach and low key atmosphere for your family vacation, look no farther!

The pros: clear communication, easy contactless check in/out, local contact for issues, clean, comfy beds with variety of pillow types, well stocked kitchen, large balcony with beautiful views, spacious bedrooms and living areas, nice decor, beach chair/umbrella rental available, location. The cons: unstable WiFi and difficult to connect or stay connected, tiny master bath (ok for short stay), unreliable elevator service (only 1 of 2 in service over 9 days, but never the same one - didn’t inspire confidence), pool and deck on smaller side w/only 2 umbrella tables, Patches Pub next door has live music most nights and is clearly heard inside unit (they stop ~10:30/11pm).

We had an amazing time staying at the Commodore. This is the 2nd year we stayed there, different unit but still loved it. Condo was very clean and had most everything we needed. Maybe an update on pots and pans and I would definitely suggest adding some hooks to the walls/backs to doors to hang bags, hats or robes. The only bad thing that happened was my son (3 years old) fell and hit his head on the glass table, not the most family friendly tables. Luckily he was ok and just came home with a new scar.

Beautiful place, just very disappointed in how dirty the place was. Had to spend our first day there cleaning and going to Walmart for cleaning supplies. Not something I wanted to do after a 20 hour drive there. Did get free tickets for an attraction for the inconvenience. But for the price of the place, not sure if that was worth it.

My family and I couldn't have been happier with the condo. It was spotlessly clean, there were ample linens, and new, modern appliances. The balcony was huge and you could see the Gulf of Mexico for miles. The sunsets were spectacular! The condo was well appointed with classic beach décor, comfortable chairs, and a sofa. The TVs were extra large and came with every channel I could think of. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook fresh, local seafood (Shrimp City Seafood Market has the best fresh seafood!) and even a blender for margaritas. The security guard who gave us our parking pass was very nice and made us feel welcomed. There was enough parking for all the guests and the elevators worked perfectly our entire visit. The pool and hot tub were clean and there was more than enough seating for everyone. The east end of Thomas Drive draws the family-friendly crowd, all the other guests were kind and considerate, and evenings were quiet and peaceful. I honestly can't think of one single thing I would change; this was one of the nicest stays I've had in nearly fifty years of vacationing in PCB. We will definitely be back next year and I would highly recommend condo 907 at the Commodore to anyone!

Checked in was simple, got up to the condo fine. Once we took our stuff up, the condo smelled, dust balls everywhere, towels still wet & air filter had caked on dust. Cons: Condo needs cooking utensils and more silverware. Guest room needs correct size sheets. Dishwasher needs to be mounted because it pulls out just by opening it. Needs new cleaning people. Small parking lot. Elevator was constantly broken. Condo sign is hard to see. Seems to be a quick flip & updated on a low budget. Beds are very uncomfortable. Pro: On the beach. Has a washer & dryer. Large balcony. Quiet side of PCB. PS: changed the filter & deep cleaned the condo the first day there.

The location was ok, away from everything but the beach wasn’t as crowded in this area. Check in was simple and using a door code. Condo was a little dirty, very small bathrooms. Washer was messed up the entire stay, on the last day we were there they brought a new one. We had to buy new towels and clothes plus was out vacation time and more money at the laundry mat. After being told 2 times they were bringing a new one and didn’t we got a little frustrated. They did give us a free trip to wonderworks but it was a headache not having a washer and dryer when a family is 8 stays for a whole week. If you stay out late when you get back there’s no parking, security will tell you to park in the grass, but you will get jumped on the next morning for parking in the grass. I hope if you stay here you’re an early bird because they came on the speaker every morning about 8 or 9.

My family and I loved vacationing at the Commodore! The staff was very friendly and helpful! Our contact Amber was quick to respond and very helpful with any questions we had! It was the perfect size for our family and we enjoyed our vacation very much! We will definitely be back!

We had to make several trips to DG and Walmart not knowing they would not have a skillet or salt and pepper or anything to do dishes with at all. A small bottle of Palmolive would of been nice along with the one thing to do dish washer at end of stay is what we are use to. Also 6 forks is not enough when there’s one thing to do dishwasher one time and nothing to hand wash it with for a family of 6. The bathroom in the master is extremely small. Other than that our stay was great and we had a great time we just had to make two or three trips but once we had everything we needed it was good from then on.

Laid back atmosphere at the Commodore. Pool and hot tub was a bonus, especially since it was right on the beach. Patches Pub right behind the condo was wonderful!!! The food and service was excellent and we could walk to dinner and back to the condo within an hour and food was always fabulous! We have 4 boys ages 11, 9, 7, & 5 and this is one of their favorite vacation spots! We highly recommend this vacation and place, as it is perfect for a family vacation!!!!

Property was not cleaned. Bathrooms had hair in the tub and shower. Kitchen floor and entrance hallway had sand and very dirty. Coffee maker would not stay on brew, had to stand by and keep turning back on. Condo Just outdated and dirty! Commodore property overall is also dirty and not well maintained. 1 elevator shut down on second day and still not working when we left. I doubt we stay in same property again. Thanks! TD
