It was our first time in Roatán, and staying at La Placita truly made it special. We highly, highly recommend dining at the local spots on-site. Be sure to try the three lobster tails special and the tacos Catrachos — both were unforgettable. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. A big bonus included with our stay was free breakfast, which was such a great way to start each day. La Placita has a wonderful reputation for making sure guests are enjoying their time, and most importantly, we felt safe from the moment we arrived. He took us all over the island, showing us everything from local hotspots to cultural gems like the chocolate factory.
