"First off the host was very accommodating from our initial booking. We booked one floor and later needed the second floor and he helped make it all work. The property is off a little side dirt road off a main road that takes you into a neighborhood, the property is not part of that neighborhood. "At first sight I thought the room was nice and as advertised. Nonetheless, we found two cockroaches in the room, our pillows were old and formless, the bathroom sink's handle came out of its hinges, the showerhead was defective and did not offer a comfortable spread of water and finally they had a scheduled construction right next to our room window and while having other rooms available, failed to inform us and give us a chance to move. "This was a beautiful, airy, fresh apartment with truly gorgeous views. The description sells short that it is literally across the street from a beautiful, relatively secluded beach. Overall we had a great stay. We suggest a few kitchen updates (large coffee pot & wooden cookware for stovetop). We also suggest putting more description on the listing. It is worth nothing the beach location, that there are sand toys/chairs, and that there is a convenient small grocery story right on the corner....
