I am surrounded by mountains, forest, and the occasional farm on this bus ride. Onboard are thirty other Ticos chattering away, laughing, and telling each other stories about their week. I turn to the window and enjoy in the Costa RIcan countryside. At this moment, I think to myself, 'You know what, I think right now is a good time for wine.'

Nice smaller waterfalls. Park at the Tilapia restaurant as they have a trail that leads up to it. There is a $2 fee per person if you don't get food or a drink. We had lunch here. The food was great and the drinks cold.

Famous for its colorful wooden masks, the indigenous mountain-top community of Boruca is worth a visit for anyone interested in the cultures of Costa Rica. There are many artists here who are happy to share their craft with you. Masks make very reasonably priced souvenirs. Their festival every December 30- January 2 is an amazing event, not to be missed.
