"This hotel have all the best facilities / accommodation and gastronomy. Staff from the welcoming group to the waiters, beach waiters all are too happy to help. My wife had a knee surgery recently and the hotel did everything to make her feel comfortable and at ease. Food was excellent no matter which restaurant you walk into. Too many stuff to mention. In all this is a hotel we will always come back to 👍"

"Fantastic resort with beautiful grounds and villas. The service is excellent. The staff is available nearly 24/7 for every need. The TVs in the rooms can be improved as they don’t have Netflix and chrome cast or apple screen share did not work."

"Absolutely wonderful hotel. Our luggage was delayed for the duration of the stay here but the concierge made all efforts to try and track it down. Facilities are great especially for kids. Definitely be back at some point. "

"We had an amazing stay at Preskil and we had a lovely sea view where we could also see the pool. The bathroom was amazing with double sinks, powerful shower and a lot of space. The bed was massive and very comfy. The room was spacious and I loved the decor and aesthetics. Staff were lovely and we enjoyed the water skiing that was included. We also received a beach bag on arrival which was a lovely touch."

"Our home for the week was fantastic, clean and comfortable with the air conditioner being a saviour. The turn down service was great, though missed for a couple of nights or 3. Unfortunately there was no filter coffee in the room, although I had enquired about that before arrival, and was told that there was filter coffee. The various restaurants were good value food-wise, with the Teak elephant being the best, in our opinion. I used the gym a few times and was impressed with the equipment."

"Good hotel and spa facilities. Food was excellent in the restaurants. We were half board and think All Inclusive would not be worth the extra money. Difficult to book excursions though the hotel. You needed to book with travel reps that turned up between 10/12 each day (not Sundays). No help from hotel guest services or concierge. "The Ambre delivered on many fronts and its reputation lies very squarely on its staff. We had excellent service throughout our stay , lots of choice for meals, lots of sun beds (although there was the rush to secure them pretty early and then disappear off to other areas leaving a lack of the more popular ones) The biggest bug bear for us was the smokers around the pool. There is a dedicated smoking area just outside reception but most smokers lit up at their sun beds....cigarettes, pipes and...

"Overall it was a good stay for a night however I think there are better hotels in the north of the island. For exemple, I much prefer their more boutique hotel Tropical. Cosier and more friendly. Thought we would try another hotel from the Attitude group. That being said, I think it’s a great hotel group for families. The staff seemed a little unmotivated and absent. We tried to go eat at their beach restaurant but it was booked out for a private event. Also their other à la carte restaurants...

"The location is great and the entire property setting is beautiful. The rooms are nice and we had a lagoon room which feels even more private. The Japanese restaurant is very nice, overall the food is good. It’s still one of the great resorts in the Indian Ocean. "

"La villa est très bien placée, à quelques mètres d'une très belle plage. Il faut une voiture car il n'y a aucun commerce et restauration accessibles à pied à proximité. La maison est grande mais n'a rien d'une villa de rêve : manque d'entretien général. C'est dommage car il suffirait de quelques petits travaux et nouvelle décoration pour la rendre plus agréable à vivre. Il faudrait la traiter également contre les cafards. Nous n'avons eu aucun accueil, ni de contact avec le propriétaire durant...
