"We stayed at Bali Bali Bueno for 8 nights. We spent many days just lounging by the pool watching the birds and lizards. The pool and outdoor space are what really made the property wonderful for me. We found the casita a little warm for sleeping without AC, so we all ended up staying in the main house. It really depends on your comfort level without AC. The temps are likely tolerable for many people - 80s during the day, 70s at night. Dawn was super responsive and helpful. The power went out once while we were there, and her husband came by to reset the breakers (which worked!) when it didn't come back on after some time. The solar power backup is a great asset for those pesky power outages (common in Costa Rica). Overall 5/5. We'd stay here again!"

"I took my family back to the Uvita area for our first international trip. Mark provided loads of good information and stayed in contact with us and the property manager throughout the trip to address any issues that came up. Beds were comfortable and place was fully stocked. I didn’t want to use the a/c but my family did so it came in clutch :) Great location, close to beaches. "

"My family and I loved this place. Chris and Greg are great hosts. Greg met us to take us to the property and showed us everything at the house. I stayed with my wife and 3 daughters, ages 1 through 9 and they had a blast. Loved the pool and we saw a lot of birds, macaws, toucans, etc. we also saw and heard the monkeys. We didn’t stay there the whole time because we like adventures, but you could easily stay there the entire time. The views of this place literally made our trip. We went during rain season and the last night we were able to see the sunset. I have seen some great sunsets, but this one was the best of the best.I recommend this villa to anyone, even if you are coming with small children.We truly loved it. Thanks Chris and Greg! "

"The property was as described with no running water due to construction in the area. The road was dirt with lots of pot holes. It was almost impassable. The property owner responded the first day about no hot water. No answer at all about not having any water at all."
