The entire property has been remodeled. Fabulous resort-style pool yard that has been completely walled for privacy. This property is so fabulous that it was featured on the 2018 Modernism Week Home Tours.

This classic Palm Springs Pool Home was originally built by the iconic Alexander Construction Company in 1960. The property has been lovingly restored - respecting its architectural pedigree while updating it for the way we live today. The original open concept floor plan, iconic flat roof, and the post and beam ceilings have been preserved - while adding modern conveniences like high speed internet access, updated heating and cooling, and four flat screen televisions. The result is an absolutely beautiful - retro chic property that is nostalgic and next-century at the same time. Perfect if you want the real Palm Springs experience.

OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES
This property captures the magic of Southern California glamour - designed in true Palm Springs-style. The mountain views are absolutely spectacular. The backyard itself is so private, spacious and well-planned. The inground pool and spa are surrounded by chaise lounges and shade umbrellas. There’s a gas barbecue, alfresco dining, an outdoor bar with a fire feature and another separate firepit lounge area that is perfect for long desert evenings under the stars.

** The pool will be heated upon request with an additional service fee. Please let us know if you'd like to heat the pool so we can ensure it is heated before your arrival. If you home has a spa or hot tub, heating the spa is included with your rental at no extra cost **

INDOOR LIVING SPACES
Stunning designer home with a spacious open floor plan, soaring vaulted ceilings, and lots of natural light. Bright, optimistic palette with fun shots of color. Super-fun pop art with photo opps everywhere. The living room, dining area and kitchen are all open to each other - providing enough space for your entire group to gather, relax and enjoy. The well stocked kitchen is perfect for group and individual meal prep.

** The term "Pets Allowed” or “Pets Accepted" at an ACME House Company vacation rental means that we welcome dogs only. No other pets are allowed. **

SLEEPING QUARTERS
Like the hippest boutique hotel, all of the bedrooms feature comfortable hotel-quality mattresses, a flat screen television, ample storage and a dedicated courtyard. The master bedroom offers a king-sized bed, an en suite bath, and its own direct pool access. The two guest rooms share easy access to the hall bath. Both offer King Beds (there is an option for one of the rooms to be converted to two twins.)

THE LOCATION
Racquet Club Estates is a very popular residential neighborhood that is close to the airport, convention center, and casino. It is a walkable neighborhood located less than a mile from the world-famous Palm Canyon Drive with its fantastic restaurants, clubs, art galleries, shopping, cabarets, and nightlife! Grocery stores, casual restaurants, coffee places, and other neighborhood conveniences are also very close by.

The property was super cute! We loved the outdoor space and spent the majority of our time in/by the pool. Even though it was still a bit warm at night we also enjoyed the fire features. Overall we had a great experience staying here!

Palm Springs Thanksgiving

We enjoyed staying at this recently redone property. The interior rooms are a bit small and the walls are a bit thin but the backyard is quite large and we spent most of our time outside enjoying the pool, jacuzzi and firepits. A/C locked at no less than 74 degrees and it was a bit hot at night. There are sliding doors in every room with no screens but no windows in the house which proved difficult to achieve cross ventilation through the house at night with bedroom doors closed. The bathrooms also are very small, albeit very clean and water pressure was good. Despite trying to obviously achieve a certain aesthetic, furniture in the living room was not very comfortable or ideal for gathering to watch tv, etc. Couch was very small/narrow and only one person could stretch out (and only two small throw pillows). Would be much better/user friendly if there was a sectional and less chairs. Kitchen was functional but lacks a bit in storage space and the fridge is wedged against an exterior wall which made it a bit difficult to get items in/out of the freezer. Oven is a bit slow to heat up and reheat, especially after opening to check on the status of items being cooked. Property is in the north and so you are in the flight path of the airport which is a bit annoying but mountain views are epic, especially from the hot tub. One note: power lines run across the backyard behind the property and these are not pictured in any of the photos so best to face towards the mountains and enjoy the natural beauty.

Enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Bubblegum. The house is nicely decorated has a beautiful pool and spa and is in a quiet neighborhood in downtown Palm Springs. Palm Springs is very strict about noise levels not allowing music outside and children must play quietly. This does make the neighborhood peaceful but if you have children please be aware of these ordinances. The folks at Acme were very helpful and did their best to make our stay pleasant.

Pure Relaxation

Wonderful Property to Vacation or Work/School From

This property is all about the outdoor spaces for enjoyment and relaxation. You can work or school from the two desks, dining table, bar top, or any of the outdoor seating locations. Entertaining you and your guests is easy with the two sliding doors right into the kitchen and living room. Outdoor BBQ, hammock, fire pits, heated pool and spa are really great amenities. Looking forward to our next stay at Bubble Gum Modern!

Great choice

Nice clean place felt really safe with the steps they took during Covid.. the management team responded quickly to any questions we had. We have a VRBO of our own in Colorado very impressed with their service would definitely recommend.

Fantastic Outdoor Space!

The outdoor space with multiple fire features, seating areas, hot tub and pool was fantastic! Exactly what our family was wanting for our Fourth of July getaway. The house is adorable with its decor and cleanliness, and was well equipped as far as tech (for the teenagers) and amenities (kitchen, laundry, A/C, etc.). It was the perfect size for our family of 6 and two dogs.
