"Last year we discovered Villa Estia. We returned this year and had a wonderful holiday again. The villa is in a quiet environment, but close to a pleasant village with lots of restaurants and little shops. For hikers there are some beautiful gorges nearby, but also less tiring sights worth visiting. And of course there is always the pool! ;-)"

"All three of us absolutely loved this place. The apartment provided for all possible comfort and the spacious outside covered terrace was the perfect place to relax or enjoy breakfast or dinner. We very much enjoyed and appreciated the tranquility and privacy of the location. The beaches and cozy village was nearby and easily accessible. Our host was super friendly, responsive and accommodating. This was definitely one of the nicest and most enjoyable places we ever rented."

"Schöne, helle Ferienwohnung mit tollem Blick aufs Meer aus fast allen Zimmern. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist etwas spärlich (3 Messer, 3 Gabeln, 3 kl. Löffel....) Die Lage ist einmalig über einer schönen Bucht. Es handelt sich um einen kleinen Komplex mit mehreren Wohneinheitenf, die tlws. noch nicht fertig sind. Bautätigkeiten fanden während unseres Aufenthalts keine statt. Maria vermietet 2 als Ferienwohnungen. Bei Buchung fragte ich nach dem Unterschied der beiden Wohnungen. Eine ist kleiner...

"Villa Atalandia is beautifully furnished, has an enormous heated swimming pool surrounded by smaller swimming pools, two fully equipped kitchens, a separate studio, and I could continue like this for a while... The villa is right by the sea (with two paths by the side of the villa leading to a secluded beach) and yet our children were safe at all times.We were greeted in style by the housekeeper who gave us all the information we needed concerning the property as well as the surrounding areas....

"We loved Grapevines, the villas are spacious, well managed and the pool and gardens beautifully kept and never busy. The beach is an easy walk and is sandy. Makrygialos itself is a delightful town, with many beachfront tavernas. There is even a Minoan settlement and Roman villa in the vicinity (the children weren't impressed by I thought both worth a quick visit and they're permanently open). The area is beautiful with beaches dotted along the coastline and beautiful mountains."
