"Verdura Hotel Resort is an outstanding place to stay. We stayed for 4 nights and would have loved to stay longer. The positive aspects were the friendly staff, a huge pool and a good private beach. We loved the gym, it was equipped with spin bikes, fitness machines and weights. The spa pools with their different temperatures were very enjoyable and one of them had powerful water jets. Being a golf facility the gardens and grounds are very well kept - neither my husband nor I play golf but we had liked the look of the huge area and the sense of space and privacy that the location seemed to offer. The reality did not disappoint, it is a breath-takingly beautiful position and well maintained. There are bicycles available to use, these are provided complimentary by the resort and we used them daily. We tried a few of the restaurants on site, all were good and service was excellent. However, one negative was the arrangement at breakfast time, it is a small area where the food is presented buffet-style and people were bumping into each other along a narrow space. My omelette was raw in the middle and another diner was also complaining about this, the egg chef did seem to be extremely busy trying to deal with so many orders, perhaps a second chef to help him, perhaps a second stove is needed. Many dishes on the buffet tables were empty and replenishments did not seem to happen efficiently. Lastly, the bedroom wardrobe area is very dark we were forced to use our phone torches! "

"Get the sea view - the view is amazing 😍! Plus the staff was great and so welcoming, the room was super cozy and comfortable, and breakfast was tasty too! I really enjoyed my stay here and would give this hotel many more stars if I could! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨"

"What a tranquil oasis. Benina and Roberto have worked so hard to create this stunning 12 bedroom sanctuary. We loved everything about it. Rooms: we had room 8, within the main building. Huge, spacious room with a massive terrace that is completely private. This looks over the vineyard and to the side the pool area. We had a sofa, which can become a bed for a family. A walk in wardrobe, large bathroom with wonderful shower. Amenities and bathrobes are provided. Tea and coffee station, fridge with water, soft drinks and white wine. Red wine on the side... Yes the wine is all literally produced downstairs. The facilities: a large pool terrace with wonderful views over the countryside. They have a spa area with jacuzzi and suana to enjoy. The infinity pool is just wonderful. If staying a few nights you will be invited to a dinner evening. We are always happy to try new things. We weren't disappointed at all. A short tour of the wine making process and bottling here. Benina leads this tour and it's great to understand the passion they have for their main business. The 6 course, yes SIX course meal is exquisite. All enjoyed with wine pairing and tasting. The food was all vegetarian which is great as it caters for all customers. We had no idea how much it would cost, but it was very well priced for what we experienced. We enjoyed every course, but don't eat lunch... The owners: this wonderful and friendly Italian couple have poured their Sicilian passion into this business. "

"We really like hotel - the area is beautiful. The products they offered were amazing. There were a few things I thought were not communicated well. One of the major roads to the property was closed which meant we were driving around in circles. An email warning would have been helpful. We informed Google maps but they should have done that. The other issue with the property is the food. We had the very high end dinner one night and then they advised we need to book lunch, we show up and it's the same menu as the night before. And no-one told us that there was a casual menu at the pool that we could have had. And that menu should have been offered in the restaurant. We found that to be a major negative. I wouldn't want the same food as the night before. "

"This property exceeded our expectations. The rooms & bathrooms are very well laid out. Very nice indoor & outdoor pools & beautiful ocean views. Food was very good & excellent cocktails at the bar. The mattress & pillows could definitely use an upgrade. "

"Beautiful property, Marco and the team make you feel right at home and are very attentive. Breakfasts are delicious and the staff at Racina their restaurant is wonderful. There is a lot of love and care for the property which can be felt from everyone there. It is a peaceful retreat nestled amongst wineries with quick access to the Magaggiaro forest, beaches, wineries and beautiful Selinunte. Cannot wait to return!"

"Lovingly restored old villa hotel with sparkling clean and new modern finishes. Carmelo and Silvio are brothers who are passionate about their property and its history. Our room was large and had views of the old church next door and across the rooftops to the sea. We had access to two terraces with seating, one sunny and one shady. Breakfast was excellent with many fresh choices and local specialties. We were given a tour of the ancient rooms in the basement and also the lovely herb garden with many unusual plants. All of the sights of Sciacca are within easy walking distance, as are many restaurants. We hope to return one day!"
