"This was quite a find - with such an interesting name, I just had to book a night there. It really is a jewel, it seems very new. We arrived early and had a splendid greeting. In view of our disability and difficulty walking, we were changed to a ground floor room which was spacious and seriously cool in the current heatwave. It feels like a farm with all the lovely hens and chicks around. Breakfast was ample and tasty. "

"Lovely B&B with a great garden to relax and in a quiet, rural location. With no neighbours and set on a quiet road it was ideal to relax after we had done a tour around Southern Italy for 2 weeks. Rosa was on hand to chat to or communicate via message (and Google translate). She wanted to know how she could help and if we needed anything. Although listed as a 2 bed property, this B&B offers 2 bedrooms but as we were a family of 3 we only stayed in the 1 room. "

Residenza Ortensia è una struttura storica ma con numerosi tocchi moderni: il self check-in, l'illuminazione, il bagno con uno stile minimal ma completo di tutto. "We were welcomed by the owner's 2 lovely sons who waited while we travelled from the airport. Communication was excellent. Our host provided us with links of places to visit and the very local cafe/bar provided us with the necessary wifi to download information. The wifi was down however it meant we weren't looking at our phones/tablets all the time and gave us the break we needed. If we needed wifi, we could get it so it wasn't a problem.
