"We had a wonderful stay in the apartment in Biguglia. The place was very clean, and the location right on the beach was absolutely beautiful. It was calm and quiet — perfect for relaxing. "This is a beautifully modernised and well appointed old house in a small village in the foot hills of the mountains in northern Corsica. Chantal the owner was warm and welcoming and very helpful. Small cafe and epicerie (limited stock) close by, where the atmosphere is very convivial (Chez Margot). Be prepared to negotiate narrow, winding roads and to take your time getting anywhere. Calvi, Ile Rousse and St Florent all just over an hour away; St Antonino and other pretty villages near at hand....

"La mer vue de la terrasse, la mer dans le salon, la mer vue de la salle de bains ... Au coeur du magnifique village, à l'ombre de l'église, une maison corse comme on l'imagine, pleine de la vie des anciens mais qui offre aussi à chacun la part de confort et d'autonomie qu'il souhaite. Le propriétaire, Jeaul Paul Mattei, est disponible, accueillant mais reste très discret. On sent qu'il aime sa maison, son village et sait le faire partager. Merci !"
