"This property was great, the owner, Gus, went out of his way to make recommendations for nearby restaurants and even drove me to a place he had recommended and picked me up after an early breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here. The accommodations were great, the grounds were beautiful, and the area was safely tucked away in a quiet area."

Historico Central Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"My friend and I traveled to Mexico City on a brief vacation and stayed at Hotel Historico Central. They helped set up transportation from the airport to the hotel. From the moment we entered the hotel, we were welcomed by warm and friendly faces. Every interaction that I had with any of the hotel staff was met with professionalism and genuine care for our well-being. The hotel was stunning, perfectly located and incredibly clean. The price was also right. The 24-hour Cafe service that included sandwiches and snacks was an excellent perk. The complimentary breakfast was delectable. They always have complimentary water bottles available. The rooms were perfectly sized and the beds embraced you with comfort.
Our vacation came to an abrupt halt when my friend suffered a medical emergency. The hotel connected me with a trusted doctor who came for a consultation and then recommended my friend be taken to a hospital immediately. Shortly after we arrived at the hospital, I received a text message from the hotel offering assistance of any kind. It was then that the hotel staff went from being staff to family.
Going through a time of crisis in an unfamiliar City is terrifying enough but the staff at Hotel Historico Central supported us and helped us through the crisis. And for anyone looking for accommodations in Mexico City, Don't think twice and book this hotel. You won't regret it. "
"The staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful. Definitely received VIP service even though it was not a VIP. Hotel was clean brand new definitely will return."
"A Hidden Gem Just North of the Historic Center
This hacienda-style hotel exceeded all expectations!
Perfectly located just north of Mexico City's historic center, it offers easy access to major sights and attractions. The complimentary breakfast is served daily from 8am to 11am, and the on-site gym is available from 10am to 10pm -- perfect for staying active during your stay.
The rooftop lounge is a standout feature: cozy, well-designed, and hosted by a warm, attentive staff who truly enhance the experience.
What makes this place especially unique is its range of accommodations. Budget-friendly rooms are available with shared bathrooms and showers conveniently located in the foyer. For those seeking more privacy, the hotel also offers private apartment-style rooms complete with a full kitchen, refrigerator, private bathroom, and even a dedicated space for hand-washing clothes.
Whether you're a budget traveler or looking for a bit more comfort, this hotel has something for everyone."
"Great hotel, clean, bed was so comfortable. The rooms can be a little loud, but with the AC on it can drown out the noise. Food and service in the restaurant was good, they have a nice rooftop as well. The gym is just ok, not much options but the treadmill worked and the view was nice. Great location in the Zocalo, very walkable with great restaurants nearby. "
"Quick trip from the airport (10+ minutes). Completely worth it! Hotel was just like the photos and other positive reviews. Zocalo and Cathedral right out the front door. View from the roof fantastic! Will stay here again."
