"Room was clean and comfortable, staff were really friendly and helpful. The bar had a cosy, comfy friendly local feel about it. The only thing I can mention negatively is that Expedia has the walking time to Durham down incorrectly. I think they meant it is a 13 minute drive not a 13 minute walk. This was no fault of the place where we were staying. It still wasn't a problem though, there is a bus stop straight across the road and an uber cost under £10. We didn't have food there because we'd already eaten, but there was plenty of choice on the menu all at a good price. We would definitely stay again"

The location was convenient to the shops and places of interest (the cathedral) and the view from the terrace across the river simply wonderful. The apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen well-appointed and the bed comfortable. My wife and I had a great time in Durham.CharlieI highly recommend this rental."
