"Amazing stuff , enjoying "

"Property is historic and comes with a lot of interesting stories (Lady Jane Grey proclaimed Queen at this location). It's a listed building which is also an interesting feature. Furnishing / decoration could do with an update. Great wine bar at the back of the property but not open at the time of my visit. Staff were very friendly and provided great service."

"Lovely old hotel with good dining options, bar and outdoor eating areas, quiet seating at rear of garden. Very helpful staff and gorgeous clean room with really comfy bed. Bus stop at front door. Recommend."

"This was a country pub and hotel, easy to find 15 minutes from Bath…very comfortable and not a standard chain hotel, very much the Country Inn that we wanted"

"The hotel is easy to find, great parking, ability to eat at the hotel and sit in a nice beer garden. If you have mobility issues make sure you request ground floor room as there are lots of stairs and long corridors. I stayed in a deluxe room which was advertised as bigger than average. Overall pleasing colour decor. Tea, coffee , water . Now to be picky - the mattresses on the single beds pushed together to represent a" king size bed " need replacing . The shower area needs to be bleached....

"Hotels don't often exceed expectations but the Priory did. From the moment we arrived we felt well looked after - the rooms were big, clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable and the restaurant was excellent. The level of hospitality was just right and we felt very welcomed. As a bonus, the garden was lovely - full of culinary plants, which I saw the chef cutting first thing, and beautifully kept. We felt that the staff really minded about the quality of their guests' experience in all areas...

"Stayed here for a wedding, room was small but clean. You could feel the bed springs on your back when you laid down and the bed was a bit small. Understood they had breakfast included, but they don't serve breakfast. Staff was lovely and very accommodating. "

" Nice pub with rooms, they are on the side of the pubs outside area so can be noisy. The rooms are a bit basic no draws or cupboards if you wanted to unpack during a longer stay. Very tight bathroom with the toilet close to the bath/shower and the sink to big and close to the toilet. We stayed two nights and the bed was made and the room tidied but the tea tray was not refreshed. Good service from the staff. A little overpriced for the bed & breakfast rate."

"Sean was the best host. So helpful. He suggested dinner at a great pub in town. The house was clean and well stocked - even some food in the kitchen. The garden was charming. Absolutely no complaints at all. Will definitely return if we return to this part of England."

"The manager was wonderful and the rooms very comfortable and well appointed. It made for a excellent stay near the hospital and was convenient to downtown shopping and food. The Brewery District is a couple minute walk and great for a bite and pint. "

"Overall it was a very nice stay, the room (Sienna) was luxurious with excellent kitchen facilities a really comfy, big bed and a nice looking terrace (although the rain put paid to using it). It is situated perfectly with great independent eateries and bars within a short walk. Parking is a little difficult and if there were some way of communicating exactly when a space would be free that would be more convenient. The lack of a working freezer compartment was the only other downside although...
