"Maui Coast exceeded all of my needs. Having a restaurant on site was convenient, staff were friendly, the facilities were clean and the property was in a great walkable location to various beaches, food and an abc store. The free bike rentals was a nice perk and the wireless phone charging night stands was an unexpected bonus for the rooms in the new towers. I will definitely be back! If you are hesitating, just book! "

"Great location next to beach. Every room offers a great view of the ocean. Nice clean salt water pool. For the high price our suite’s decor was a little dated and did not feature extras for the beach like mats or beach chairs. Just the basics. But for $750 US a night, I expected more. "You don't absolutely need a car for Howzit Maui, but it's really helpful. The hostel arranges daily tours and activities, but if you don't make it onto the sign up sheet, then you need to make your own arrangements. There are plenty of people who have car rentals, so making alternate plans isn't a big deal. There are six shared bathrooms (with showers) and a seventh just for women.
