"While asleep around 11PM. I had a couple walk in to the room. They got in to the room with a key given to them by the hotel receptionist. You have to go to the receptionist everyday to get your room reassigned to you throughout your stay. That nice couple had been there for a few days already and had a few more days left to their reservation. So they walked in to the room that they had been assigned to for the reservation. "Hari Piorko Hotel in New Dehli, India is a hidden gem. The cost of the lodging is very reasonable. It's not a five star hotel but a 3.5. Very clean, staff is very attentive to a guest comfort and needs. Location is ideal. Located within New Dehli, but a stone's throw from Old Dehli. It is located between 2 metro stations, not to mention the New Railway station. Hotel can arrange cab pickup for a very reasonable fare. However, you can also take the Airport Express from the airport if a low taxi...

"Hotel was good. Nice breakfast. It is very close to the train station which added 10-15 minutes to every trip just trying to get around the traffic. That's the only reason I might not stay again since it was a significant obstacle. I was also unclear which rooms had balconies and which didn't I stayed in two different rooms that were booked the same. One had a balcony and the other didn't. The check in/out process took a while. "

"The manager/reception was rude. They did not give us the Twin Beds I booked well in advance. The food was mediocre. A rat ran under our table while we were having breakfast. The room was dirty. No tea coffee provided. The Electric Jug was filthy. I was unable to use my credit card to pay the bill for our food which caused us a great deal of inconvenience as we had not many Rupees left. "

"Bad first impressions with two members of staff hassling me about buying travel tickets before I’d even checked in. Room was an ok space, but couldn’t get antiquated AC to work and ceiling fan was so loud as to make sleep difficult. Minimal natural light from the window opening out onto a wall a foot or so away. Did seem to have on demand hot water, unlike some places in the area. Sure it’s cheap, but there are other better places nearby for similar price."
