"It was an incredible experience to live alone in an abandoned village in Mani. You feel far away from everything and it is a nice feeling. The nearest beach is about 25 minutes driving. The house is always fresh downstairs in the main bedroom. For the persons who like to hike, unfortunately, a fire occured in august 2021 so it is not very pleasant to walk in the countryside around. Mosquitoes could be a challenge also sometimes during the evening (even in the house). The views from the house are...

"The house is beautiful, with lots of seating areas, good sized bedrooms and a lovely garden and terraces. These combine great views of the sea and mountains, with sheltered places to eat and cook outside. The area of the Mani the house is in is dramatic and surprising, and Kiparissos is a great base to explore it all. Last but not least there are two delightful beaches within 5 minutes walk, both often deserted and with lovely clear water. We look forward to returning!"

"Amazing view overlooking the ocean and a lovely crystal clear bay which was great for snorkeling. Kostas, the host, couldn't have been more welcoming! He had filled the fridge and cupboards with everything we might need, wine, beer, honey, bread, water, orange juice, etc etc. And showed us how everything worked. He had a nice relaxed vibe about him and was on hand locally should we have needed him. The flat was comfortable with direct acccess to the sea via a short set of stairs. The terrace...
