"This is a very special little hotel. First, the staff was so friendly. We got there in a rental car, and I was nervous driving on the narrow streets of the historic center. The garage is a block or two away. I drove to the hotel first to drop our bags and ask about the parking. A woman came out and walked ahead of me to the garage, and all the way down until I was neatly in a space. "This hotel benefits from it's central location, close to shops, and beach. However during my stay in December an xmas market was constructed in the plaza directly outside the hotel, causing. Noise and light pollution. Lights flickered on and off for hours before the system was correctly coordinated. Music blaring out 'Felice navidad' and other Mediocre Xmas tune's played from early evening till almost midnight. Surprisingly this Xmas market does not allow vendors."

"This is one of those places that fills a need for accommodation in between destinations. For the price it is quite good - clean and quiet - but nothing fancy. The staff is friendly and helpful. The town doesn't really have anything but it is conveniently located between Almeria and Motril."
