"Absolutely lovely. Owned and operated by a local family. The staff is very kind and helpful. The views of wildlife are exceptional. We were very comfortable. We didn’t want to leave! Note that the road to the hotel is not paved. The local drivers are used to it. If arriving from Quito, get out at the Mindo town square and take a taxi $4-5 to the hotel. People there seem honest and hardworking. "

"This hotel was second to none. Comfortable big beds, delicious food and reliable wifi. I love how they fill the bird feeders in the morning so you can see lots of birds from the bedroom sliding doors or the dining area. Margarita went above and beyond for me, from organizing taxis to helping me organize how to make the most of my time in Mindo. Her staff were all so friendly and helpful and genuinely hope you have the best time during your stay. Can’t say enough good things about this place! "

"Beautiful hotel and grounds with wonderful views off our back deck. The 2 person jetted tube was just what was needed after a day long hiking treks. Friendly and professional staff and we enjoyed a very good dinner on site and the included breakfast had several options and you can choose all you wish to eat."

"I liked having nature around me and its fulfilling breathtaking beauty. The owners/staff are very friendly and understanding; beautiful people. It was a pleasure to meet them. Hearing a river flowing and the tranquil sounds of a waterfall on the property; amazing to both fall asleep to and awaken to. Hummingbirds to admire, a swimming pool, soccer field, volley ball, a kids playground for families with younger ones, a walking path, hammocks, and breakfast provided. I had my own car and speak Spanish, so I enjoyed everything I wanted to do and see on my stay. Some good things to see were mentioned by the owners/staff. Positive energy. I did not have any dislikes."
