"Pleasant little house near the beach."

"This was our second time visiting Linda's cottage. Everything was perfect, we needed a place for respite after some recent losses; what better place than the beach. Linda was very kind, communicative and helpful. At the same time she gave us privacy and was respectful of our space (as we were to hers). I didn't want to leave. Excellent stay!"

The cottage is located behind Patty's house on a quiet street that's three blocks from the inviting College Avenue array of varied restaurants (Italian, American, Mediterranean, ice cream, Peet's). "The unit itself was very nice, well appointed and in a great location. It had everything we needed to cook and bake. The fresh loaf of local bread was a really nice surprise. At the time of our stay (May 2024) the staircase down to the unit was under construction. The only way down to the unit was a dangerous trail with wobbly steps. This was a challenging climb in and out, but with luggage, it was a nightmare."

The furnishings are quite sparse but all nicely comfortable and functional, with very good facilities all around in the bathroom and the well-equipped kitchen. It is relaxingly quiet and private, and in a pleasant area.
