"Lovely property with spacious rooms but don't fall for the "Gift Bag" (it's a trap!) and watch out for the pushy time-share pitch. Just ignore them and they'll go away. We would exit the building separately so as not to be ambushed."

"The hotel had an old world charm, very 1920's Art Deco style. However the rooms were modern with lots of amenities, like a full kitchen in the standard studio room. Also a sofa/bed. The room on the 4th floor was quiet although there was considerable traffic in the area. There was a large rooftop space with great views of San Diego. You could also grill or barbecue. Overall, a wonderful experience staying in this hotel that I highly recommend. Sorry, no pool but it does have a small fitness...
