"Location, location, location - fantastic! However, having 5th St. blocked off at both ends afternoon/evening reduces its accessibility. The "free Continental breakfast" is appreciated, but does not rise to a normal Continental breakfast of fresh fruit, pastries, toast and jam, yogurt, etc. Keep trying, though! Finally, make sure there's enough toilet paper in the bathrooms to last until the next morning. Yes, I'd stay here again; it's a lively, funky, charismatic place to stay."

"The staff was very down to earth and friendly customer service. The property was close to downtown Santa Barbara and within walking distance to many great things such as museums, beaches, and public transportation. The building had key fab lock entry, lockers, and room entry-so safe surroundings. It is a quite place to stay for a quick nights rest and recovery for those travelling through. Dislikes: There is no privacy room to have a private phone call and or work type meeting."

"The hottest of hot water showers. If you like a hades-like water temperature this is the place. *Chef's kiss* The water pressure as well. A relatively diverse bunch of other travelers with which there was some great conversations...everything from restaurants recycling oil from the late 1800's to the specific technique of tattooing a more solid line on someone. There's a health food tienda/café about 7-11 minutes by foot. Bought a bag of sugar for around 5 bucks. Plenty of seating outside as...

"I had an excellent stay at Burlington Hostel. This was almost the perfect place to stay. The Hostel itself was fantastic with excellent Interior Design ideas I was very impressed by. The landscaping in the backyard did need work though. It was such a fantastic stay as far as the others staying at the hostel. Everyone appeared to be comfortable while staying there, and they were definitely very friendly. I enjoyed the communication I was able to have with those I did have conversations...
