"The house, view, garden, and hosts were amazing. Great view of everything from the ocean to the night sky. House was clean and hosts were very informative about location, directions and gave us a great place to explore the rest of the big island."

"Wow! Just wow! This property is amazing! The pictures do not begin to show the beauty of the view from this house! The grounds are meticulously kept! The fruit trees and plants, we had planned on going back to the botanical gardens outside of Hilo but there was no need, everything was growing right there! Is the House a little dated yes and I was a little uncomfortable with no coverings on the windows but there truly is no one else around. The house was super clean and the AC kept it cool which is what my biggest issue in booking was! The Host Cemille and Derrick are absolutely amazing! Fresh fruit every time we saw them! So nice and helpful! We hope to be back very soon! "

"Clean and private cabin within earshot of waterfall and a million coqui frogs. Friendly and helpful staff provided all we needed for a relaxing stay. The only negative we experienced was the poor WiFi, which we needed for trip planning and checkout."

"The studio apartment was a charming place conveniently located close to many amenities (cafes, groceries, restaurants, etcetera). The staff was very friendly and eager to help. Waimea was our base to explore other areas such as Pololu valley, Hawi and others. The manager was very helpful in providing local information of good restaurants around all the multiple areas we visited. It was always good to have an insiders' point of view. Thank you!"

"We stayed with them a week and it was a wonderful, quiet, calm, relaxing stay. Adelina treated us like family - shared fruit from their garden with us! Bed was very comfortable. I slept on the pull out couch, and it was very comfortable as well. Water pressure was amazing - better than 5 star hotel pressure. Full size fridge for all your snacks and food. Fresh ground coffee and coffee maker available. Any cookware (pots, pans, silverware) you might possibly need available at the outdoor kitchen - but there are plenty of food options at Honokaa (don’t spend your vacation cooking!). Ocean breeze at night, you could see all the stars. Located on a quiet street in between Honokaa and Waipio valley. Absolutely ideal if you want to get a feel for local living and get away from all the tourists. Great midpoint to explore both Hilo and Kona (they are both 1.5 hours away driving). We also loved their dog (Storm) and cat (Magnolia). Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to our family and friends."
