"I've stayed at other LaQuinta hotels & this was, by far, the best one! It was bright, cheery, and clean. Loved the location. It was a short walk (or bike ride) to the beach! It was on the 'good' side of the highway (meaning we did NOT have to cross the busy highway to get to the beach). I highly recommend this hotel."

"The room and bed/sheets were clean. Unfortunately the air conditioner wasn’t left on so the room was really hot when we arrived. The stair well had a funny smell but the room itself was nice and did not smell. The property seems well taken care of, but you get what you pay for. The bathtub is in need of refinishing. The hair conditioner was empty. The most important thing in a hotel for me is that the room is clean and the bed is comfortable and they do offer that. For the money, I would stay again, but don’t expect anything extra."

"This was our families 6th time staying in lake if egypt . We've rented this home now 3 times over the years. This time we did notice a distinct smell in the smaller bedroom, mold/musty smell that our sensitive kids reacted to. Beds need replaced , they srent comfortable and could use some updates such as the dock has nails sticking up, basic attention to cosmetic things, house is showing signs of wear and age . It is well stocked, good access to the lake, neighbords and their dogs are nice and love to visit. Owner was quick to responses."
