"Absolutely wonderful place to stop on the way to Koyasan. I will admit when I showed up at the inn I was later than expected, had walked many miles, and was in quite a bad mood. The welcome I received changed all of that. They took me straight to my room and gave me tea and treated me like I was part of their family. I had the best meal of my time in Japan at this inn. "Fabulous. Could not have been better. Across the street from the tourist office and within walking distance of all the gorgeous shrines, museums, and historic points of interest. Also easily walked to very special restaurants after using the hot baths. Most important, the staff could not have been more wonderful.
