This house, 200 sq.meter space is open for only one group per day. Stay-overs for up to 11 guests, but we also welcome smaller numbers.

This house usually serves as the owner's agricultural office, but it is completely open for you during your stay. The host has been renovating this house for years and renewing old facilities with the latest furnishings.
1. 0-Only one group for each day:
Our house is designed for only one group of guests for each day, that is, no sharing with other groups during the stay.

We offer you good sleep, a reasonable price and the traditional Japanese lifestyle in the era of Taisho and Showa (= 19 10's to 80's).
1. 2-Flexible Futon-bedding:
Hotel quality sheets and lightweight down feather Futon (s) are provided for each guest.
Japanese Futon-bedding is best suited on Tatami-mats. It is portable, foldable and flexible enough to sleep together in one room, in separated rooms for each person, men / women, family units, kids / adults, boss / employees or the snores / non-snores as you prefer.

Free parking space for one small car in front of our house and other 12 cars next to our house.

We provide our inner veranda for luggage storage, just in front of the small parking space.

Guest's private entrance with automatic lock with a key-card or password number.
1. 7-Bed rooms:
This house has 15 rooms, ten of those with Tatami mats, three rooms have good specifications for sleeping.
1. 8-Room # 1 (capacity of 4):
Japanese modern style bed room with 20 pcs. Of checkered pattern of square tatami-mats. Quiet room and clean air feeling. Open from the south and west, it is a well-lit room with a wide view of crop fields.
Combination of plain wood walls with a Fusuma door, wooden crossbeam and inclined ceiling with loft floor, lit with indirect lighting. It is very impressive.
Air-conditioner, Air purifier, Coat hook equipped. Renovated this year.
1. 9-Room # 2 (capacity of 4):
Japanese-style bed room with eight pcs. Of tatami-mats.
Open from the south and east, it is a well-lit but calm and composed room with a Shoji paper screen. Opening the Shoji-door, you can feel something of the Japanese landscape with crop fields beyond the Japanese garden.
This room has a Japanese-style alcove, TOKONO-MA (between floors) with hanging scroll picture, KAKEZIKU. These items make you feel calm and relaxed.

1. 10-Room # 3 (capacity of 3):
Japanese-style bed room with six pcs. Of tatami-mats.
Red iron wall, Fusuma door with black-and-white drawings. It is so impressive, and it comes with a style of Japanese SHOIN-ZUKURI, a perfect traditional fixture including TOKONO-MA and KAKEZIKU. The next den room also has six pcs. Of tatami-mats for your work and rest.
Air-conditioner, Air purifier, Coat hook equipped.
Guest access
Entire house (except for a front office and a futon linen yard) is for your sleep and rest.
2. 1-Wi-fi:
Hi-speed wireless LAN available, enough to enjoy live streams.
2. 2-Site:
2600 Tsubo (8500 sq. M = 91500 sq. Ft) with the Japanese-style garden, crop fields, grapes, peaches and persimmons yard, you can feel various types of nature in close proximity every corner of the house.
NOTE: We recommend daytime check-in because site and landscape view is a reason to book.
2. 3-Bath room & Wash room:
One Tsubo size (1.8 * 1.8.m) and one Tubo size dressing room which also serves as a washroom is next to it. The wash was renewed by the host this year.
2. 4-Rest rooms:
2 rest rooms with rear wash, one room was renewed last year.
2. 5-Kitchen:
17 sq. Meter space, also serves as a laundry. It was renovated last year.
2. 6-Kitchen usage:
a. Our house provides only sleep over without meals.
b. There is no restaurant or shop nearby, but we provide the kitchen only to boil water, to warm milk for your baby, to eat boil-in-the-bag foods, to toast bread with the toaster and to heat meals from convenience stores with the microwave.
c. We also provide coffee, tea and bread for free, cup noodles for 100 yen.
d. That means we have no cooking knives, seasoning, pans or oil. Please do NOT bring any cookware, and also do NOT bring any uncooked foods that require preparation beyond that mentioned previously.
Other things to note
Interaction with guests:
The host is usually in the front office like Ryokan, welcoming and seeing you off at your arrival and departure. Self-check-in is also available when the host must go on an errand.
Please knock the door of front office at any inconvenience or for any question. We try to do our best to have a good dialogue with our guests and help out with any questions, such as where to visit in Kanazawa or other sightseeing places, where to eat / buy something near our house, what Japanese old-style houses are like, usage of the Japanese-style tools / devices in our house and so on. If we need to, we will search online to find an answer for you.
Early in the morning the host will enter the Kitchen and Living Room, to the minimum extent to heat / cool the house.
3.0-Check-in procedure:
1) Put your luggage at the inner veranda
-How about taking a rest with tea and Japanese sweet buns?
2) Sign the registration list.
3) Host guides around the bedrooms, bathrooms, toilet, wash areas, kitchen etc.
4) Watch how to make a futon-bed in a short movie.
Check-in procedure takes about 20 min.
3.1 1-Check-out procedure:
1) Sheets and bath towels are to be gathered at one place.
2) Clear up Futon bed and hang it on the hanger.
3) Host would be happy if guests sweep rooms you used, thank you.
4) Collect your garbage at one place.
-How about have a break with ground coffee?
5) Return key-card to the host and close the door.
Check-out procedure needs all members' cooperation.
3. 2-Over 2 days stay:
1) Return sheets and bath towels every 2 days and the host will provide a new one.
2) Collect your garbage every day.

**** Frequently Asked Questions ****
1) What is "BUDONO-KI" named after?
It means "grape trees" in Japanese. Vineyards next to our house and parking welcome guests.
2) No Pick-up service:
You need a car to go anywhere from here. Only one group have ever come by public transportation so far.
3) Cell phone signal:
Good reception.
4) Language:
English or Japanese. Either language is to be selected for a stay.
5) Alcohol not recommended:
It's a seed of trouble and drunk driving is strictly banned in Japan. Therefore, please refrain from drinking, please keep alcohol to minimum for a good sleep.
6) Note for Tatami mats:
Don't put your luggage directly on vulnerable tatami mats. We provide cork mats to put it on.
7) Passport procedure:
Under the Japanese lodging law and police guidance, please produce all members' passports and make a copy of those of foreign nationals who have no address in Japan.
