Relax and unwind at this classic waterfront cottage on tranquil Hogan Pond. Spend the days lounging on the beautiful sandy beach and cozy up around the fire pit in the evenings. The property features a fairly level lot, with a natural lawn leading to the sandy beach with a gradual entry. Hogan Pond doesn't have a public boat launch, but there are ample opportunities to explore in the provided single kayak, double kayak, paddle boat, and row boat. After a fun-filled day on the water, enjoy the convenience of having shops, restaurants, and the Oxford Casino nearby. There's so much to do at this cozy cottage - you won't want to leave!

2025 Rates: $290/night PEAK season; $250/night LOW season; $200/night OFF season

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was the quintessential Maine Lake cottage! It was exactly what we were looking for. From the moment we walked in the door we felt like we were at home! The waterfront was great and perfect for launching our kayaks for relaxing trips up the lake to the Little Androscoggin or over to Whitney Pond. We will definitely be back!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I'll state the cons first, to get them out of the way: the ceilings were low, the bathroom was "rustic", the bed in the downstairs bedroom is simply too big for such a small room, and some raking out of muck from around the water inlet would be greatly appreciated!On to the pros, which greatly outweighed the cons: Hogan pond is beautiful, peaceful, and dead quiet. We all loved the stillness! The cabin location is amazing - 30 feet from the water! We really enjoyed kayaking up to the river and around to Whitney pond. Several nights we heard loons calling - lovely. Overall we loved staying there, and would happily rent it again.Thank you Krainin for a wonderful vacation!
