"We love this place! With many nice updates, the owner has preserved the mid-century charm of the house. The bedrooms are all quite roomy, and I appreciate that the main floor bedrooms have a dresser (not something we always get at a vacation rental). The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes and silverware, and the living room is a great place to hang out on the cushy sofa. The ping pong table in the basement is fun, and the enormous backyard is lovely. As an Owensboro native who now lives out of state, I've driven down this street probably 10,000 times and never knew that there is a little oasis back there! Chuck is a great host. We come to town several times a year, but this was the first time we tried a vacation rental. After staying here, I think our days staying at a hotel are over. 10/10 "
