"What a delightfully quirky cottage. Loved the comfortable beds, Outlook each morning to overlook the vines and to see the goats and pheasants. Took my very elderly mother so stair at front door was a challenge but I was able to load up goods and her from the back. Went in winter and there was heating in each room very warm and cosy. Wood fire was terrific. Modern clean and beautiful bathrooms. Lighting everywhere if you needed it. If you want cooked breakfast each morning just remember to book online. Interesting coffee drip bags provided good coffee however maybe coffee pods could be offered could still recycle these. Tasty local Granola and quince and yoghurt provided. Only had minor issue with front security pad but after a quick phone call, proprietor was there to assist. Quiet area was appreciated and so close to local attractions. Highly recommend this place for any combination of people especially couples."
"Delightful premises, most acceptable. Spotless, warm and convenient to the village. We were very comfortable, a beautiful bed.We were not aware of the need to provide our own breakfast items, but got around that small hiccup."
"Relaxed, comfortable and roomy for two couples who like to do a bit of home gourmet (BBQ!) when home from a day at the wineries. Great access to walk on Riesling trail and historic memorials to John Horrocks and local area (another shortish walk). So baths were well used.Fabulous linen and hand and body washes (remember to bring own shampoo and conditioner). Ample and varied breakfast provisions, selection of tea bags and coffee (pods, bags and instant). Wifi worked well as did phone reception. Even though on the main highway traffic noise wasn't an issue.Fire was possibly a bit temperamental - but maybe it was the users! A few mozzies and other bugs but it is the country and there is a zapper if you want to use it.All in all a great experience and we have rebooked for next year!"

"Overall this is a very pleasant place to stay. Well appointed, well furnished, modern, lovely garden, great views. Some suggestions - breakfast is no longer provided but perhaps a bottle of local wine and/ or some nice chocolate would be appreciated. Also some personal suggestions on what’s available in the area besides the usual travel brochures. Maybe even a webpage with all sorts of info."

"Pool Table was an absolute winner. Kitchen was well stocked with all required facilities. Open plan living area was great. Exceptionally clean in all areas.Just a few opportunities that we would note for your reference: -Small bins in the bathrooms would be handy.Hooks on bathroom doors for robes etc.Position of hand towel in bathrooms could be improved.Single bed in one bedroom was a bit squeeky.Cushions on kitchen chairs would be great.Slip mats in both bathrooms would be good.Safety grab rails in both bathrooms.These are just some ideas we had but did not detract from a wonderful experience, but could probably enhance that experience."
