"Hotel very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Beds comfortable. Great facilities pool sauna gym Breakfast could have been better cold plates. Only egg option is scrambled. Sausages under cooked. Some of the Breakfast items ran out. "

"There are not enough superlatives to describe this hotel and its incredible grounds! The food was Excellent - better than the Michelin * restuarants I have been to recently in London and Venice. The grounds are spectacular - all 66 acres of them and its worth visiting just for this alone. The bedrooms are very nice and confortable. We had an Orangery suite which has Aircon. The Main house rooms do not. The staff were superb! Expecially compared to some other much more expensive hotels where the service really lets them down. "

"Almost all good. The room itself was spacious and well equipped. Fresh milk in the fridge, quality teas and coffees, biscuits, great shower, lighting, fan, tv, radio, quality bed and bedding, sofa and toiletries. I'm sure there are more positives... My minor negative observations - check in wasn't quick or smooth (although the young man who welcomed me was excellent). The cups don't fit for the coffee machine. There is no direct way from the carpark to the main building although there is a less than obvious side door. Overall - I enjoyed my 1 night stay and I appreciated the touches of luxury."
