The locking of the gate at 6 was a surprise to us and it would be nice to mention it or highlight this, phoning to say we are running 30 min late we did not get an option….very stressful on that road. Arriving we realised that the gate was manned and could have been opened for us 😟
The restaurant is very pricy, would be popular if there could be some cheaper family options.

"Even though the weather was less than warm and welcoming, the owners were not. They were absolutely friendly and extremely helpful in every regard. The accommodation site was beautiful, very functional and very comfortable. The shopping centre is within walking distance and so are the beach and harbour. "We booked this on the day when plans had to change, and were so glad we did! Cape Agulhas is a lovely place, so geographically significant, and South Point was the perfect place to enjoy it from! Beverley greeted us very warmly and you could tell she took a real pride in ensuring that the property was optimally presented. She showed us to an immaculately clean apartment; small but perfectly formed! The outdoor area was an absolute bonus for us to reorganise our packing. We met the owner, Hilary, in her laundry business next door, and what a wonderful lady she was! We really enjoyed hearing the story of her her life in South Africa. She also gave us a great advice on where to have dinner, and how to see the best of the local attractions (the atmospheric lighthouse and beautiful coastline).
