Lighthouse View Oceanfront Lodging
10/10 Excellent
"This was our first visit to Hatteras and our hotel experience was awesome! We were able to check in early to the hotel and our room was oceanfront on the third floor, so we had an awesome view and really got to experience the full beach experience! We loved the cleanliness and the room was pretty large. The front desk staff was friendly and we appreciated being able to get into our room early after a long morning of travel! We appreciated being able to walk right to the beach rather than having to park somewhere else. We could go to the beach for an hour, come back to the room, go back down to the beach… Really can’t beat the location! There is some construction/dredging going on to the right of the hotel if you were facing the oceanfront… Really didn’t bother us since we are from an area that has dredging, and only there for one night, but if we were there for an entire week, that would’ve been annoying! There was still plenty of beach to enjoy, but kind of hard to relax with the noise of bulldozers a few feet away from your beach chairs."
