"We were delighted with our stay. The accommodation (which are small, cute houses) need a little improvements. But the location! I have to admit, this is the most authentic and peaceful place I've ever been to. It's the place of serenity with abundance of being close to the nature. "Gorges place! Best for relax. Great family owner. You should have a car to stay there. Parking is easy and free. Ideal position if you are traveling around south shore of Portugal. I had a problem with key fob battery, and the owner vent to nearest town to by new one for me!!!Thank You!"

"We had a fab time at Brian and Lesley's villa. It's a lovely property with a great swimming pool, set in rural surroundings. Brian and Lesley are really nice people, always around to help if needed but they also give you privacy and allow you to get on with your holiday. The villa is very remote (nearest supermarket is 14 mins drive) so it's the ideal place to relax. We managed trips to Beja and to Milfontes as well as the science centre/mining centre about an hour north. Definitely recommend...

"This property is about 6 miles from the nearest town, off the main road with a lovely view of the valley. We were given wine on arrival and the owner (who lives next door) was always on hand for queries. We had spacious living conditions, large beds, comfortable chairs and large showers, all of which we look for in a property. We ate all our meals outside under the covered terrace. The pool was just about warm enough for us to use. We were able to visit many local towns but a car is essential....
