In a charming, authentic neighborhood of Ouidah you will find our comfortable home with 3 bedrooms. You will receive a warm welcome in the area and stay among local families and children. You can buy vegetables, drinks, and other snacks from the small shops nearby, or simply relax and enjoy the surroundings.
One bedroom has a very large bed, a second bedroom has a standard double bed, and the third has two single beds. All bedrooms have wardrobes for your belongings, plenty of windows with mosquito screens, and fans. There is also a portable electric air conditioner, but in general the house is pleasantly cool thanks to the many windows and the breeze.
There are two shower rooms with toilets and sinks. Towels and bed linen are provided.
In the kitchen you will find a fridge with a freezer compartment, an electric kettle, a filter coffee machine, a gas stove with an oven, and of course all the utensils needed for cooking and dining. You can use and drink the tapwater without any problem.
The spacious living room has a large dining table with 6 chairs, a desk, a sitting area with a sofa and chair, and a television with Canal+. Upon arrival, your hostess Carine can arrange a mobile internet subscription for your phone (price on request). If you are staying longer than 3 weeks, we will install fixed internet for you free of charge.
On the terrace, there is a seating area where you can enjoy a lovely cup of coffee or wind down in the evening. The courtyard has enough space to park your car if needed. Don’t have a car? You can rent our Toyota RAV4, with or without a driver. Daily or regular cleaning of the house, meals, or grocery shopping can also be arranged for you.
At the entrance to the courtyard, there is a small house where a friendly, quiet, and very discreet young couple lives; they will be happy to assist you. You have complete privacy and no direct view from your “neighbors.”
We charge 2000 FCFA for electricity, normally this will be enough for several days. In case you need more, the next electric charge is at your costs. Carine will explain to you how it works.
After booking your stay, we will send you more information. We can also organize excursions and/or activities for you (with or without a guide). During your stay, you can always contact Carine (on site), Constance (your “neighbor”), or me, Karin, via WhatsApp if I am not in Benin (I speak english)
We look forward to welcome you and ensuring you have an unforgettable stay!
