"Our stay at hotel was great, but I booked 2 rooms & our friends stay was flawed by 1st night where they found blood stained towels after taking shower…very upsetting! The hotel gave them 2 free breakfasts in exchange for trauma…I’m thinking they should have gotten 1 night off our 3 night stay. Other then that, hotel is on fabulous location to activities- museums, park & walking areas."

"Checked into our room and it was dirty with stains on the walls and ceiling, old dirty carpet and a strong musty/moldy smell that triggered my asthma. We asked to be moved to a different room, but the hotel was full, so we had to check out within 30 minutes of entering our room. The lobby is nice and reflected in online photos. Our room did not reflect the online photos. It was disgusting. The hotel manager refused to refund us for the 3-night stay. Expedia was not much help either. We finally had to enlist our credit card company to investigate and resolve the matter."

"Not great!! I booked a room at the Eden Hotel because I thought it was old and charming, and when I arrived, my room was in the NYX Hotel, which was not at all charming. Very confusing and disorienting to go up and down hallways and stairs through 2 different hotels, and try to figure out which entrance your cab will be at. We asked for clean towels on two occasions and even offered to carry them up ourselves from reception, but were told they would deliver them to our room for us. No towels ever showed up, and we were forced to use wet damp towels for 2 days (we had water on the floor in the bathroom from something leaking every day) so always damp towels! Hotel location was OK, but that’s about all I can say was a positive for the hotel. The hotel was under construction, which I did not know when I booked it, so maybe that is why there was so much chaos about the accommodations. Would not stay there again."

"We found the staff friendly but were extremely disappointed in the room. We booked this hotel based on pictures of the room in the category we had chosen. However instead of the bright, airy charming room in the pictures (with large windows and beautiful views) we had a small dark room with only one window that one could see out of, and it was placed high on the wall. When I explained to the front desk that this did not resemble the room I booked I was brushed off. Upon checking out, I heard another lady express the same disappointment for exactly the same reason. She, too, was brushed off. A classic case of bait and switch. Additionally, there was very little water pressure in the shower and it took a long time to get warm water - it never got really hot, That being said, the bed was comfortable and the location was terrific."
