I had to down load an app to check-in and also had to provide a large security deposit to check-in and receive my electronic key. Once this was complete an electronic key is issued through the app. However, the key did not work. I was lucky to see the cleaning lady who granted me access. "I appreciate this hotel every time I stay here. It has a quiet elegance that I enjoy. My room was in the Jagdschloss itself, and it was beautiful and comfortable. The bed was wonderful and I appreciated the selection of pillows. I especially loved the nearby forest and lake, and the walking trails. I plan to return to the Jagdschloss Kranichstein and I recommend it to others. "

"Nice airport hotel. Perfect if you have to catch a morning flight from FRA and you don't want to rely on DB for being ontime (which you absolutely shouldn't.) Perhaps the hotel could give better directions for those who want to walk from the airport to the hotel and back. Googlemaps does a bad job of that, directing you to places that are unsafe for pedestrians, and there aren't any signs posted for foot traffic either, even though there are sidewalks and pedestrian traffic lights. I got lost both going to the hotel from the airport train station and from the hotel to the airport terminal. It was a blemish on an otherwise perfect stay."
