"Great home for lots of people, 2 bathrooms, 2 lounges and a small drying room. Short 20min drive to Whakapapa. Had everything we needed. We also got a late check out which was brilliant as it was day light savings weekend! (No linen included - BYO or pay extra). We would stay again!"

Great communication with the bachcare manager who turned up to meet us and show us around. The family are wanting to make plans to come back for a longer stay."

"This place would have been great in summer. Unfortunately as we visited in the middle of winter it was a bit chilly. Also not many facilities nearby as most closed for the winter. Had hoped to rent a kayak/ canoe and go on the lake. Oh well, wouldn’t stop me returning in the summer. "

"We love Kurutau. This bach was spacious and bright with a lovely deck and little backyard."

"We stayed in this cosy little home for two nights during the winter. We comfortably stayed with 5 adults and 3 children. With wood included in the price of our stay, the house was warm and cosy and was in close range to the tongariro alpine crossing and turangi is 15min drive away if you require anything. We enjoyed our stay and the kids loved the big bunk beds. Thank you for having us! We’ll be back if we are ever down that way again 🙂"
