This was exactly what we were looking for in a mountain getaway, peace and quiet. Very secluded with no noise or traffic going by. You can hike on private trails or just sit by the river. Hosts were very accommodating with great communication before and during our stay. You can access just about any kind of restaurant you could want within 15 minutes. We will definitely be back. Loved it
Our stay was perfect! The hosts were great, cottage was clean and on-property waterfalls were beautiful. The location was great for sightseeing and shopping. Hope to return in the fall.
This is a little piece of Heaven! Adorable cabin, peaceful neighbor and centrally located to Franklin, Highlands, and Cashier's! Great restaurants too! The hosts are So thoughtful! We arrived to homemade delish pound cake, fresh flowers thru out the cabin and a bottle of wine to help us celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary! We enjoyed meeting Carman and Jim their such lovely people! Will Absolutely be staying there again!!
We had a wonderful time staying in this cabin. It is nestled in the mountains of NC, and is very quiet with beautiful hiking trails and a nice river view. We will gladly come back again.
Cozy, quiet cabin with a lovely view of the mountains from the front porch. The accommodations were clean and nice. The hosts were communicative and welcoming. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Jim and Carmen are the perfect hosts. They made us feel so welcome and the cabin is beautiful.
It was just what we needed for a quiet get away. We will be back.
We had such a lovely and relaxing get away at this quiet, secluded and cute cabin in the mountains! The property has some beautiful trails and waterfalls to visit, and the location is convenient to great restaurants, wineries, waterfalls and some charming villages! Carman and Jim are so kind and they made our stay very special! We will definitely visit again!
The Host hospitality was excellent. They were very helpful. We got to see falls that we never seen in our past visits to the area. The house is very cute, a little small but great for just a couple. A secluded little stay, that we wanted.
If you love whimsical, a fully stocked, comfortable, and very quiet cottage, except for the birds, tree frogs and the river, this is as close to heaven as you can get! Carmen and Jim are very kind and helpful. So many wonderful little towns nearby and waterfalls and hiking in abundance.
This is a lovely little cabin with everything we needed, and Carman couldn’t have been more helpful. We enjoyed walking the property with our dog and rocking on the big front porch. Great location for a couples’ getaway!
The cottage is super cute, clean, and very well stocked. We cooked a few meals and the kitchen had all we needed. The nearby falls and views from the property were beautiful and the hosts were great. Would definitely recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this delightful cottage! It was a welcome haven from the busy world, and especially restful because it was exactly as described and actually even better. It was the tiny things like the Phillips head screwdriver and the flathead screwdriver in the kitchen that just spoke to how well Carman took care of her guests. We’re delighted to have this retreat on our radar now.
We loved absolutely everything about the cottage! The location was perfect and Carmen and Jim were amazing hosts! They really thought of everything, and checked in on us frequently. I felt right at home! We can’t wait to go back!
This property was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. As autumn approaches, this was a great spot to sit in rocking chairs on the porch, watch the birds, and take in the distance peaks of the mountains. A lovely, quaint cottage with hiking and water feature on the property, plus quick access to lovely trails and waterfalls nearby.
The cottage is great is located in a wonderful place near the Little Tennessee river with private Falls. It had a special place to have a campfire and just nice and cozy away from everything. The host and hostess were great. They live next-door, but we’re very available when needed for questions and left a sweet surprises on our arrival. We would recommend this place to anyone.
Everything was excellent! We had everything we needed! The cottage was very clean and cozy! Jim and Carmen were very responsive and made sure we had every we needed!!
A wonderful cottage with beautiful Mountain Views. Our stay was perfect but the porch, with a table and chairs and rocking chairs, was priceless. The gracious hosts left nothing to be desired. We will be back!🤗
