We were staying in the Family Room, but were not advised when booking that on our second night immediately below that room would be a rock band, performing until 10:30pm. "I booked in January for a summer weekend, arrived in July to find hotel closed and had to find another hotel. I contacted the hotel through expedia and through their website twice in the week running up to my stay. The Guest House did not respond I arrived to find Hall Bank Guest House locked up and closed. I had to find emergency accomodation for the night. I suggest that potential holidaymakers think very carefully before risking booking Hall Bank Guest House"

"Sara and Chris were the perfect hosts. They really made our break away something to remember. The Snug had everything we wanted and more besides. The Valentine treats were a lovely gesture and much enjoyed. My little girl slept on her rose petals every night! "We had a wonderful stay at Settlers lodge. Beautifully decorated and very well equipped! Loved seeing the squirrels around the garden! Set in a great area for walking and exploring. We enjoyed both the local pub and also a takeaway from the nearby pub. Both we would recommend. Cannot wait to come for a return visit . Thanks again!"

"We try and come to Otterburn once a year as we love the area. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with tableware amd cutlery. The veds were comfy abd the hot tub was amazing. The only thing that frustrated us was the induction hob, we have never used one before so took a lot of getting used to despite reading the instructions several times.will definitely be returning and will have hopefully mastered the use of an induction hob by then!"
