"Excellent hotel in a half-timbered historic building in Hamelin Old Town, very close to main areas of interest. Our room was very nicely modern inside, comfortable bed and large clean bathroom. Breakfast was an adventure for the taste buds - traditional choices, healthy, plus a selection of innovative taste combinations. Excellent."

"Didn’t realise that the hotel didn’t have a night porter , so couldn’t check in. Ideally located for business trip to local pharmacy company, but hopeless if you can’t gain access. I would have thought it may have been courteous if the hotel would have prompted me as we’ve become so reliant on assumptions that text has been read, that o ended up sleeping outside in the car overnight when the temperature was minus 3."

"This hotel has so much potential unfortunately it wasn’t to the normal standard that a three star German hotel is. The restaurant was open from 6 pm till 8 pm for dinner if you arrive at 7:45 pm it’s too late and that is ridiculous as for breakfasts The cheeses and hams and eggs weren’t replenished so choice was greatly limited. "From the moment of arrival when we were met by Helmut we felt very welcome. The property was exactly as described and had everything we required for our six night stay.Having lived in the village over fifty years ago it was quite something to have the opportunity to stay in the house where our German friend, who is now 97, used to live as a young girl. We would definitely recommend this property and are already looking forward to a return visit. Vielen Dank Helmut bis nachtse mal. "
